good games everyone - Demon, lifesave, matt-sucks we couldn't find a game really for all 4 of us, but we started our playing really well, esp that station game where demon went 23-0
because it only comes in handy once you've failed to kill someone with the bullets in your clip, the other attachments make it a lot more likely that you'll take everyone out and won't need to reload fast.
Well I've almost completed the second shotgun. Still have about 26000 experience to go as well. I've learns a lot using a shotgun. First if you miss with the first shot against a good player your screwed. I'm also beginning to think that hip fire and fast reload are the ways to go. Since if Yu miss your probably dead anyways it might increase my chances to kill with one shot. I also believe I need to upgrade my ak47 but think I'm almost done with it. Might actually need only one more shot with it. I know I still need my sigmus though. That will be a pain for sure. Hopefully the next two shotguns will be even better.

I use it for black box for when I'm on the bond team. Also like I just said thinking of the shotgun as well since it is so painfully slow to reload them. I need to take cover for like 5 seconds to reload sometimes can be painful.

@Tech, all shotguns should be one shot kill. If you are far enough away to not get a one shot kill, get closer. I use all armor and hip fire b/c like you said, if you don't kill the first time, you are most likely dead before the next shot. The drumhead seems to have the best distance, but when I first started using it I had a terrible delay in the firing. Not sure what it was, but it's better now. I changed to loadout a few times, but couldn't nail down exactly what caused it. AK is the worst and sig is close to it, but bearable. I hated the AK xp cause I did it with the non-hero ak... just terrible.

Also, last night played a few rounds solo conflict and it's been a long time since I've done any solo playing. I can't believe how awesome the nl "training" is. I struggle to get 30 kills in the allotted time, but won with 28-8 kdr and next closest had 15-12 kdr... amazing. Playing with you all certainly has helped my game. And the xp doing that was nice too, 800+. Don't get that too often on team with lifers.
I wish I had more xp lvls to get... I only have the 3rd level of the two different flash tasks and killing by shooting a mine left. A few guns I don't have access to yet, but otherwise it's all killing xp for me till the strata
Oh, and as for the prior posts, I love the remote mines with certain loadouts. They can be a great scapegoat in an intense firefight when out of ammo. I really want to try throwing one on someones back and letting them run into the crate room on docks and setting it off, killing all the enemies inside!!!
I agree with you rdb. Conflict is pretty laid back and tame compared to playing with lifers. Thats my bread and butter for xp gains.
Flash/IED kills. I finished these about a week ago and you only get a measly 400 pts for maxing them out. (TIP) When your playing goldeneye and you sneak up on someone at a console throw a flash grenade at them, wait, get flashed and then blind fire at them. Same with mines, throw them near the person then blast it. You should get 1-2 a game, more if you (gulp) camp. Im going to try this technique also with the improvised acculade, we'll see how it goes.

ie, two miles. the pt-9 with a reflex sight i think works the best over a distance, i could not believe how often it still kills with one hit even when someone's across the map as long as you have the cursor right on them. the drumhead is better but it's sight is harder to line up exactly.
seriously though. i was at the top of the green stairs in nightclub the other night and died with one shot from a guy all the way down the stairs and a good distance down the hallway. i swore it had to be a sniper rifle... i was a little angry when i saw he was using a shotgun. i never use them but if you're good with one they're definitely the most powerful weapons overall.
