@Vortexeo Yeah, I was watching Luxin's video. I sat down last night. Also yeah, the overheat is interesting. It's the only limit you seem to have with the Ouroboros, seeing as it doesn't have an HP bar, and the arts don't seem to need a recharge whilst in the form.

I just noticed that the giant that they're facing off against in trailer is holding a dead Homs in his hand. This game is going to get as dark as the first game, isn't it?

@VoidofLight what's the timestamp for that in the trailer? I don't think I caught that

As someone who's new to Xenoblade, 3 looks amazing and the fusion thing and mech arm thing. Has sold me on the game. This game thing is cool.

@Vortexeo Around the 47 second mark.

@VoidofLight Oh wow! Is that actually a dead homs? It's a bit hard to tell because lanz is in the way 😂. I can definitely see he's holding something though

@Vortexeo Yep, you can see the hair, and the circles are apart of the Homs armor.

I found more footage of Xenoblade 3s battle system! It really looks like arts recharge other arts. When the party starts a battle and it looks like the arts are available immediately. (This was a thing in XC1 but in XC2 this didn't happen until much later in the game).

Also it looks like the auto attack cycle is similar to XC2s.

@Vortexeo I noticed in that gameplay that the clock is entirely gone.

Vortexeo

@VoidofLight Oh wow I didn't even notice that...I wonder why that is 🤔

@Vortexeo From what it looks like as well, is that your entire party runs around with you in the overworld too.

@Vortexeo Their levels are lower than in the trailer so Interlink is very likely a feature that gets introduced when you progress a certain amount in the story.

@Vortexeo Is it just me or do the locales have a bit realism to them? Like, the desert here looks surprisingly detailed for how massive Xenoblade tends to get, especially with the lighting at play.

The music sounds great as always.

@Fizza It's mostly thanks to the art style this game is going with. It's more of a mix between Xenoblade 1 and 2, and it's more detailed at that. The world also seems to be taking cues from X in terms of having a huge world which is pretty much open.

@VoidofLight It does seem that way! I wonder if we can choose to put party members on the bench or if we have to run around with all of them. In the announcement trailer they were only running around with 4 party members and in some cases they were running around with just 1.

@Grumblevolcano You're right! The chain attack meter isn't seen on screen either. I'm curious to see if we get access to interlinking or chain attacks first!

@Fizza I agree with you! As @VoidofLight said it looks like it's pretty inspired by Xenoblade Chronicles X! I've seen a fair amount of people comparing this desert area to Oblivia.

@Vortexeo I feel like the parts we see only 4 members or 1 member could mean there'll be sections of the story where the party size is reduced.

"It is fate. Many have tried, yet none have ever managed to escape it's flow."

Vortexeo

@VoidofLight Yeah that is likely the case. Although it would be cool if we could set our party to only 1 party member 😂. If the combat mechanics are deep enough then I would definitely try to solo some unique monsters.

The latest article on Xenoblade 3 is why I dislike the fans of Xenoblade 2 for the most part. It feels like a lot of fans of 2 only played 2 because sexualized female characters, and not because the game is actually a good game. They act like 3's character designs were censorship until now, and they leave comments which read like they're sort of creepy.

The amusing part is that the ESRB rating legit only mentioned exposed breasts because of the Ouroboros form that we see, and then mentions Deep Cleavage because some of the female character outfits have exposed cleavage. It's not sexualization in regards to how 2 went about it, and yet these people who loved Xenoblade 2 think it's going to be the exact same now, and that if you don't like it, then you either need to leave or you're a "twitter user", even though they're the ones that invaded the fanbase.

@VoidofLight I didn't actually read it because the article said there would be potential spoilers for the game. I think I can guess what was going on in the comment section based on the title but could you verify what was going on for me? 😅

@Vortexeo I'd refresh the page, since I added a bit more to the thing I said. Basically though, people were acting a bit creepy with some of their comments, and talking about sexualization.
