Topic: Xenoblade Chronicles 3

To anyone that still did not finish the game remember to not skip credits as if you do so you will miss a post credits scene as the game will put you directly at the main screen. Only realized today as I was on Reddit...

So does anyone know how many side quests are in this game? I haven't actually found a confirmed number as of yet

@Takoda @Vortexeo 183 sounds about right. I counted at some point and it was at 163 and after that I did some 10/12 and after the credits you unlock a few more that I have not completed yet

Xeno 3 has way too many sidequests than Xeno 1.

Dunno about Xeno 2 since i still havent played it yet

@XandertheWise XC2 has also a lot (I think 150+) but most won't see close to it as you Will need to get all.blades from gatcha gods and raise the affinity with the driver (which will take quite some time or money)

XC1 has 480 quests, by far the most of any Xenoblade game, but most of them are very short.

I don't intend to do every side quest in the game- only the vast majority. There's always one or two that just strike me as too tedious, and I say eh, I'm good just skipping that one.

On chapter 7 I've done all but 3 sidequests and 1 of those is the Nopon rocks. Another is Teach and teaching his students, which I can't figure out where to go. Forgot what the 3rd is.

But ya, I've doubled back to all colonies to unlock further yellow speech bubbles, revealed every inch of the map in all areas except the sea (because screw that), a bit of the first area I havent explored yet I just got access too, and 1 or 2 poison ponds I couldnt cross without dying. Also hit all ? symbols... speaking of which. I did get 1 piece of information on the black fog, but never got the 2nd. Still haven't encountered the other ? in the sea.

Maps get filled in once you've found every landmark of that region.
The (white) fog quest activates once you come across it on the sea.
If you can't cross poison yet, it means you're missing a hero.

Finally made it onto chapter 4. Things are definitely getting interesting.

It fills in the maps but iirc, not on the R3 click map. I remember seeing the map in the screen but still filling in on the R3 click map. Or maybe I'm remembering wrong

I'm not 100% on that but I don't remember that being the case. Can't check either because I deleted my first save file and I'm not far enough on my second playthrough to have uncovered a full map yet.

@JaxonH just a tip on that fog thing. The second clue is actually not on that area (I had that on my discuss list for the longest time lol)

Oh, not even in the sea? Well that explains why I haven't found it yet. I need to make a new pass over my maps and look for any rogue ? I may have missed.

I think @Balta666 meant the second clue isn't found in the same are as the first clue?
Because I got the second clue while boating around on the sea.

Once I'm done downloading 3DS games I'm going to beat chapter 3. I still have a big chunk left, plus I need to stop getting side tracked.

@Mioaionios @JaxonH you probably found the other clue first then. And yes, unless is random for me it was not in the sea at all.
