So, I really want a Switch. But I'm not really sure if I'm going to buy it at launch. I've called a few of my local game stores, and they all suggests that if I want to get the Switch soon, I should pre-order it or buy it pretty close to launch. The reason for this is because they say that it will sell out fast, and they are not sure if they are going to get more in stock for a long time. I'm not HUGE fan of Zelda (though Wind Waker HD is one of my favorite games of all time), but I still want it of course! I'm thinking of selling my Xbox ONE (I have a PS4 and I don't use my Xbox ONE, so it's fine) and get the Switch for a lower price.
In my situation, is it worth buying at launch?

More importantly, was it worth starting a new thread for? No offence... but there's nothing complicated about your situation as you've described and you've not given any reason for not buying it at launch, so quit skirting around the issue and just get one ordered We can't have every fence-sitter starting a new thread to ask whether they should buy a Switch. Make the decision. There are multiple Switch threads where you could seek input, such as the main Switch thread, or the pre-order thread. Thanks.
