Mainly the Rocket Leagues - I broke 500 hours this spring. I was also playing New Super Lucky's Tale, and on occasion, Splatoon 2. Splatoon is great, I've just really played the heck out of it.
Nice. Yeah my brother started playing a lot of PS4 since the pandemic so we play that cross play when I’m on Switch. (Rocket League). I have PS4 to but always get the Switch port (if) it exists to have the handheld and tv option.
I also love Splatoon 2 very much but haven’t played it in months. It’s just amazing ports keep coming that get my attention over going back to it right now. @WoomyNNYes
So far this year, the best games I've been playing are Celeste, Sonic Mania and...the 2nd half of the original FFVII and all of them I've played to some degree in the past month...so there's that.
FFVII Remake - Yeah its bloated in certain sections, but FFVII is one of my favourite games of all time. And I loved virtually everything about the remake. First great Final Fantasy since X-2 in my opinion.
Yakuza Kiwami 2 - I played 0 and 1 last year and thought they were fantastic. The series is the Godfather meets Mario Party in the best way. Yakuza 2 takes some getting used to, as they changed the combat, once you get enough upgrades it does feel almost as good.
Animal Crossing - The perfect game for lockdown, I just wish there was a bit more to do.
Honourable mentions: Streets of Rage 4 and God of War 2
Monster Hunter World Iceborne - 180 hours and counting.
The Grisaia Trilogy - A solid story that teeter-tooters between happiness and sadness.
Ragnarock Odyssey Ace - A beautiful but hollow-feeling Monster Hunter clone.
Switch Physical Collection - 1,251 games (as of April 24th, 2024)

1. Persona 5 Royal - perhaps my favourite JRPG ever, outside of Pokemon. Building your skills through social links, daily activities, etc., is such an addictive gameplay loop that more games need to implement.
2. Final Fantasy VII - the best FF since X, imo, and competing for my favourite in the series.
3. Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition - admittedly not given this the time it deserves, but great to be revisiting this in HD.
It's been a great year for remasters/remakes of JRPGs.
1. Mario kart 8 - kind of got buried in the backlog finally been giving it the love it deserves .
2.Trials of mana - just conquered final fantasy adventure on it and loved it cant wait to tackle the next two games on there.
3. Ark survival evolved - took a long break on this one .. but got sucked back in as of late . Such a missed opportunity and a shame the switch version gets zero attention from wildcard it needs updates badly and new maps, yet I somehow can see past its flaws still very addicting for me .
Best games I’ve played so far in 2020? The Witcher III Into the Breach Link’s Awakening
Haven’t yet picked up anything released this year, and the only thing I’ve got my eye on is Cross Code. I like the look of Paper Mario - but I’ve got half a dozen other backlogged RPGs to play first. Unless Nintendo or somebody comes up with something utterly stupendous, Cross Code might be my only 2020 game this year. And it actually originally came out in 2018...
1 - Mario Maker 2 (always and forever lol)
2 - FFVII (not the remake, actually, just the original - I'm a scoundrel who never actually played the whole thing for myself back in the day, but I would watch my friends play it)
3 - God of War
