@Anti-Matter
Love your music taste there

@Wargoose
Am I reading that you think 10-2 is a good game? Genuinely curious.

@jump
You mean 8?

For me top 3 recently(mostly) played titles are-

FF7R ~ It really is something truly special and I have loved practically every minute so far (Just about to grapple up the wall). Can't remember the last time I had a 12 hour practically solid session from the start of a game and found it all a joy to play.

Animal Crossing ~ Still popping this on now and again mainly for bell prices, it took a long while but I am definitely bored with it so do the bare minimum.

Borderlands GOTY~ Generally enjoyed it the most I ever have done on Switch, it just seems to work and feel more accessible to me(playing something handheld really is a big plus for me). I had tried a few times prior playing the various games in the franchise on 360 & PC but it just didn't stick, time will tell if it truly does now, but I know I have been enjoying it. The gun play and loot system I adore, an sometimes it is enjoyable to just shoot stuff on a game.

As for top 3 favourites of recent times-
FF7R
Witcher 3 ~ On Switch, finally got it, if you will. Thank you Netflix series for giving e the hankering to try it again.
Dead Cells ~ This is how you make a game like this and continue to support it, always a joy to play but of course sometimes frustrating.

Honourable mention in the last category has to be Animal Crossing, as it did give me a lot of enjoyment thus happiness in a horrendous time, but as the boredom has set in, it has constantly been a chore that I feel like I have to play, sure you could argue that's my own fault, but because of it, it's magic has been lost.

@Rosona I really liked FFX-2. There are 2 songs in it that are a bit cringe, but I thought the battle system was great. I also enjoyed the story for the most part, the different factions were a nice touch.

Every Final Fantasy after it, I just really struggled to enjoy.

FFVII Remake is the first one in years, that I genuinely really liked. I'm an FFVII fan, but they went over and above what I was expecting. I can't wait to see what Part 2 is like, I hope they keep the submarine mini game.

@CTmatic

1. Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition

2. Pokemon Shield Isle of Armor

3. Animal Crossing New Horizons.

Bonus, not a Switch game: Star Wars: Empire at War - modded with the Thrawn's Revenge modpack that totally remakes the game and delivers the sequel we never got.

I-U

1. ARMS
2. Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition

On the Switch, these are the two games I've played the most of recently. ARMS is my go to game on the Switch. I've put over 10 hours into Xenoblade, but my experience has been stop and go. I usually am not in the mood to game on my TV and don't want to have my first experience with the game's regions in the definitive edition be on handheld/tabletop mode. Smash, depending on Monday's reveal, will be a part of this rotation in a few days.

1. Bloodborne (if to pc rumour true, y no Switch?
2. Sekiro
3. DS Remastered(switch)

Fromsoft isn't on my mind lately but I did watch the trailer of Demon Souls again yesterday.

Honorable mention: It seems I DO like the Witcher 3 when turning off motion blur and that sickening effect while observing.
