Besides the games like Animal Crossing, Metroid, Punchout that i'd love to see i'm also finding more indie games I feel would be awesome on the switch. Games like Don't Starve, Oxygen not included, banner saga, jotun, titan souls I think would fit quite well on the switch (and many more of couse)

I would like to see lots of older games remastered for the Switch. I think if we got a series of games 'remastered for the Switch' such as Chornicles of Riddick. GTA V, Bioshock, Condemned, Vanquish, Transformers etc etc (far too many to mention!!!), then I reckon my wallet would be very hurt. There is a wealth of games Wii owners missed out on during that generation that could be amazing as handheld/ hybrid games and benefit from facelifts for the Switch. Skyrim is a very nice start.
I want them to make a racing game that isn't Mario Kart this time. Maybe Kirby Air Ride 2? Or bring back F-Zero? Though, F-Zero might not happen again unless Miyamoto changed his mind.
3. A new and fresh Mario & Luigi game (not Paper Jam levels of bland).
4. Ice Climbers 3D platformer reboot.
5. Open world Donkey Kong (imagine swinging on vines through an open and lush jungle).
6. New 2D Metroid (if possible, made by the AM2R team. Please hire them!)
7. Maybe a new 2D Kid Icarus.
8. New 3D Excitebike with online.
9. Wario World 2
10. Smash 4 Deluxe. Pretty much Smash 4 with slightly better graphics, about 4-5 new characters, more balance to buff the lower tier characters to be more viable, more online modes, and a story mode. PLEASE give us a story mode.
I like Smash Wii U over Melee. FIGHT ME.
I'm addicted to amiibo. Full collection of the Smash series....help me....please...
Also, I like to go fast, really fast.

Same as @Octane suggests; a new Pikmin (Pikmin 3 is one of my favourite Wii U games) and a completely new Metroid (in 2D or 3D) that isn't a continuation of the Prime series, nor the horrendously dull Other M.
Donkey Kong can rest for a little while now though, seeing a Tropical Freeze feels all too recent to return to the Kranky gang so soon. I thoroughly hope Retro Studios are creating a new IP too.
I would also like to see another Luigi's Mansion, as well as a very long overdue follow up to 1080° Snowboarding and Wave Race, both of which has been absent since the glorious GameCube days.
And some actual new games please; no more remasters or quick-and-easy ports like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
Almost forgot about this one. Revive The Mysterious Murasame Castle; a 3D action-adventure hack-n-slash type of game set in feudal Japan. Although I guess Nioh is pretty much that already, but maybe in a setting more akin to the original game. Get Platinum Games working on it, we all know Kamiya wants to do it...
DONKEY KONG COUNTRY (RETURNS/TROPICAL FREEZE STYLE). Either port or new game. Are they even PLANNING making it?
Cheers
Sarah
DK could really use something new, Returns/Tropical Freeze don't really do much that the Classic trilogy doesn't.
What I'd really like to see is a 3D game that's a hybrid platformer/beat em up, something like God of War, the Werehog from Sonic Unleashed, or Knack. That would be a fresh concept for the series that Nintendo hasn't really done.
I would love a fully 3d Kirby game. Kirby is one of the last remaining Nintendo platforming icons that has yet to receive a fully 3-dimensional game. It's aggravating to me considering that Kirby is my all time favorite Nintendo franchise.

Yoshi still hasn't either unless you count his appearances in Mario.
But yeah, Kirby in 3D would be pretty sweet. And if Kirby 3D Rumble is any indication, they're actually working on one.
