Topic: What Games Do We Want?

DK could really use something new, Returns/Tropical Freeze don't really do much that the Classic trilogy doesn't.

What I'd really like to see is a 3D game that's a hybrid platformer/beat em up, something like God of War, the Werehog from Sonic Unleashed, or Knack. That would be a fresh concept for the series that Nintendo hasn't really done.

I would love a fully 3d Kirby game. Kirby is one of the last remaining Nintendo platforming icons that has yet to receive a fully 3-dimensional game. It's aggravating to me considering that Kirby is my all time favorite Nintendo franchise.

Yoshi still hasn't either unless you count his appearances in Mario.

But yeah, Kirby in 3D would be pretty sweet. And if Kirby 3D Rumble is any indication, they're actually working on one.

Two games I would love to see on the Switch:

1. EA UFC 2
2. Far Cry Primal

I would gladly guy those games again to have them portable.

ROBOT WARS.

I want a Robot Wars game. I LOVE Robot Wars the TV show, and it would be perfect for a game version. It's just like gaming on TV. I had the GBA one (approx 2002). Would love to see new game to go with new TV shows.

• A mainline Pokémon game ..please let the Pokémon Stars rumours be true!
• Some more non-sequels from Playtonic Games! We're already getting Banjo-Kazoothree - sorry - Yooka-Laylee! ..maybe they could dip back in to the ol' Rare back-catalogue with a semi-follow-up to Conker's Bad Fur Day? or Diddy Kong Racing? ..or - dare I say it - Perfect Dark?! ..I'd buy 'em!
• On the subject of Perfect Dark - I'd really like at least one game like it ..a good first-person shooter, with co-op, 2-4 player splitscreen multiplayer (+optional bots) and preferably online multiplayer as its 2017 now!
• 'Switch' Sports - or something similar to Wii Sports...y'know, something your Grandma could pick up and play! Haha!
• a new Pokémon Snap? ..perhaps with a fully explorable open world?? - that could work!
• a new Extreme G (or similar?) ..I really loved that game - basically Fast RMX, but with crazy weapons!
• Mario Maker ..of course!
• A Destruction Derby type game ..I've been wanting a game like this on a Nintendo platform for YEARS - please, please, please, please, please! (I'm a dreamer!)
• ...and a bunch of licensed sports games: we're already getting FIFA and NBA - the more the merrier I say!
• ...oh, and my girlfriend is just waiting for Nintendo to say the words Animal and Crossing - got to happen!

I would love these:
Another super mario 3d world.
Mario party 11.
Either some seasonal updates to MK8D or a MK9 within 3 years time.
A few ports of older zelda games.
A more traditional zelda game in 3 years time.
Super mario maker.
I just really hope that they continue to push out good games for the switch for a long time.

-Paper Mario (I would prefer a super or TTYD styled game, but I wouldn't mind a sticker star styled game, since I actually liked that game)

-Luigi's Mansion 3
-Smash Bros. (duh)

I'm looking forward to the street fighter release for the switch and also the new Mario kart

It was recently confirmed that Capcom is bringing some old school Disney NES gamesto Xbox One/PS4/PC. Man I'm looking forward to that. No word yet on Switch version but maybe that will change.

I think it's absolutely ridiculous that it isn't being released on Switch alongside the other platforms. They're NES games for crying out loud!

Any discussion about what the Switch needs without Bayonetta 3 is stupid.

I'd also like to see the next step for Cpt Toad, a Capcom Megaman, Rocket League, and a game that actually makes use of amiibo in a Skylanders style way... but good.

@sillygostly If this doesn't come to the Switch then I think that will be cause for alarm at what big companies, especially Japanese ones, are thinking of the Switch going forward.

Please Animal Crossing, more Zelda, Pokemon Stars, Paper Mario, Kirby and lots of JRPGs!

I may be in the minority here but I still want to see rotation in Nintendo non AAA games, so for the Switch I want to see,

Fire Emblem series
Chibi-Robo series
Earthbound (Mother) series
F-Zero series
Kid Icarus series
Metroid series
Advance Wars series
Punch-Out series
Rhythm Heaven series
WarioWare series

These I would combine into a single game.
Wave Race series
Pilot Wings
Wii Sports

I don't get the demand for Stars at all, why would you WANT to buy basically the same game we just played last year all over again this year and pay an extra $300 for? Especially when the series has gone beyond regular old third versions and we've had sequels that have done much more (and from the description of this rumor, this is a third version and not a sequel). This is exactly the kind of lazy, business minded approach that benefits the developers and not the fans, much like the NSMB games.

Also doesn't really fit Game Freak's MO either since they don't like being too formulaic and they don't like rushing to new hardware.
