When you put the one game whose title and logo we know for certain (Zelda) in picture perfect clarity, and put the one game we know absolutely nothing about slanted and blurred (Kirby) then you might as well just superimpose a troll face or a winking emoji because you're not fooling anyone.
@skywake Mario Warriors? Could make sense, but I think that jumping needs to be the main for of attacking, or something more true to the original games. By that point, you're slowly turning it into a platformer, and I doubt Koei Tecmo can nail that part. I think it ''could'' work in a weird way, but it would play unlike any Musou game and I think it needs to be done by another dev at that point.
I think at this point Fire Emblem Warriors would potentially make the most sense for a new Nintendo Warriors game. Due to the massive success of Awakening and Fates, FE has now risen to be one of Nintendo's A-tier franchises. Nintendo's even confident enough about the franchise to create a mobile game (Animal Crossing became A-tier with New Leaf).
I just really hope that if it does happen that they don't only focus on Shadow Dragon and Awakening like Atlus did for TMS#FE.
Fake leak is obviously fake but does have me thinking that I wouldn't mind seeing a Kirby game announced. I do believe Ninty has a surprise or two up their shelve for launch and I've been hoping for a revival or a new IP but I'd be pretty down with Kirby.
Next to the actual presentation, I'm looking forward to the NDA being lifted on 3rd parties so we can have a better idea of who's really on board. The Senran Kagura creator will be there and he stated he's interested in working with the Switch so I'm crossing my fingers that he isn't just there to attend. Also hoping that Squeenix has something to share besides Dragon Quest (preferably Bravely related).

If I was to guess which series not known/rumoured we might get? I'd say either Animal Crossing or Luigi's Mansion. Mostly because it has been a while since the last ones and the last releases sold well. Also they're one of the few releases from Nintendo that have sold well and aren't currently confirmed or rumoured for the Switch.
Animal Crossing in particular is glaringly absent thus far. From not just the trailer but all of the rumour mills. I'm sure that Nintendo had been working on a Wii U Animal Crossing a while ago. All of those HD Animal Crossing assets they made and we got what out of it. A plaza and a board game. I remember when I said this a few years ago now people responded saying that Animal Crossing on a home console was a dead concept. Well now? The Switch isn't just a home console.

An opinion is only respectable if it can be defended. Respect people, not opinions
@skywake Animal Crossing is also an easy win too, more susceptible to the 'Nintendo rehash' claims than most because not a lot of changes are needed to sell a new game in the series. Most people have moved on from their ghost towns in New (really ironic name now) Leaf and they'd rather (or at least I would) start the cycle again with a new game in HD this time for the first time rather than going back to their ghost town or starting again on New Leaf. Add in how its popularity is shared in both Japan and the US (and even most EU countries get a kick out of it and Tomodatchi Life which did incredibly well in France IIRC), how it works best as a social/portable game and as I say it's an easy win.
A big new Animal Crossing game is definitely what I would be safe in saying is on the horizon, especially with the already announced mobile game and Nintendo's strategy of trying to entice mobile players. It's also a game that is conveniently overlooked by the crowd who say that the Switch will be the Wii U all over again. Try saying that on Animal Crossing Switch's launch day would be an interesting thing to see.
@Shinion Well we know the mobile game connects to a main game. If that main game was New Leaf then surely they'd have announced the mobile game in the November Direct, instead they only went into the New Leaf update. In fact if the AC mobile game comes out in March, I could see the main game for Switch coming out soon after launch if not a launch title.
Animal Crossing is a game that works pretty well as an early release. I would even argue that if it doesn't get released in the first half of a system's lifespan, that they shouldn't even bother releasing it after that. The entire premise of the game is playing bite-sized chunks on a daily or weekly basis. Stuff changes throughout the year and it makes sense to play it for at least a year to ''experience'' it all. In my opinion it's one of the games they need to release ASAP in a console's lifespan. First or second year would be perfect.
LIttle OT from whats being discussed at the moment but I just tried Samsung Gear VR today. Using a Note 4 or 5, not the most top of the line phone you can have.
For me it was a experience where it was immersive enough to be really cool but not real enough to make you think you were actually there. Kinda like a dream where you know you are dreaming.
Long story short if the Switch could do the level of VR I just tried, with the Joy-Cons adding to the interaction, I think it could definite be a selling point.
Edit: With that price point though, they should probably be doing a permanent price drop on the New 3DS XL. There's an absolutely massive jump in hardware for only $50 more otherwise.
@IceClimbers Not only that, but it's approximately the same price as the Wii U 4 years after release, with added portability and better computing power (I think that says more about the Wii U's pricing than anything though!)
Hmm...so the Wii launched at $250 in the US and £180 in the UK (although the pound was fairly strong to the dollar at the time!). I'm gonna guess the Switch'll be ~£220 for us Brits.
Hi, I'm not sure if it was discussed yet. But I thought I hear what people on this site compared to Gamefaqs have to say about trying to pre-order a Switch the day it's made available (most likely Friday at midnight since the direct is said to be an hour long, just my guess) I really hope it won't sell out fast but then again I am just making myself paranoid for no reason.
I'm will say if the 25,000 yen rumour is true then will we be looking at £199.99 for a standalone Switch? As at current conversion 25,000 yen converts to around £174
Direct conversion is £203 so that report from a few months back about £199.99...
I mean...are we looking at very affordable as well as a device for anywhere? What kind of distopian future am I in.
Taking conversions into account, the UK prices tend to be higher than the US prices, probably largely because US prices do not include tax.
For example, in December 2006 the exchange rate was ~0.508 GBP:USD, meaning that the US price of $250 would roughly translate to £127. Yet the Wii was £180 in the UK.
Although, there are probably many hidden factors and costs that may have changed with the exchange rate, and it's possible that Nintendo could go for a target of £200.
