@Magician you are right Sony headquaters is now in California, don't PS5 will also suffer this problem of limited space in other countries too?that console is so big, people will problaby fear, if a put my PS5 in my table it weight can brake my table.
Lol the PS5 is big, but I don’t think it will break any tables 😂
Series X is surprisingly small though. Much more tiny and compact than expected. The design has grown on me too. Small black box would blend in very well (not that I’m getting one, but I can still appreciate its design).
The button swap isn’t a big deal. It’ll agitate a few people but I don’t think it’s gonna have a significant impact on adoption rate. It’s not a deal-breaking issue, basically. Censorship, on the other hand, can be. It’s one of those things where, the longer it goes on, the more people’s’ patience runs thin, and eventually people will start hitting a breaking point where they buy games elsewhere in retaliation. We saw it with Nintendo when they were censoring, and no company is completely immune to the repercussions, though brand loyalty will ensure there’s a fair bit of tolerance toward it for a time. Eventually though, that consumer trust will erode.
@Magician
Gosh dang. It was at 80% when I ordered mine. Get em while they’re hot.

@Heavyarms55 is not a minor thing you are asking/wanting to Nintendo to implement, i lot of people incluiding myself, want a similar feature to the Playtime of 3DS to be incluided on Switch and Folders and themes too, but sadly the only way you can see if Animal Crossing New Horizons is your most played game for this month or year, is by going to Nintendo site and login in with your Nintendo Acount and see your estatics.
I'm more skeptical about how well it'll do in Japan. The Switch has such a big lead there and I think it'll be a fixture in Japan for years and years to come. It's difficult for me to see the PS5 passing 10 million units there.
I'm also skeptical if it'll ever see sales figures higher than the PS4 in any major market. The PS4 was just a masterpiece of technical design and marketing and it was up against the XBox One and the Wii U so it had an open goal in front of it anyway.
I see the PS5 to PS4 potentially being more like Blu Ray to DVD - not everyone will feel like they need one straight away and adoption rates will be at a slower rate once the early adopters are out of the way. I can also imagine a lot of people opting for the cheaper PS4 version of a game and playing it on their PS5 instead of being the graphically better but more expensive PS5 version.

Didnt offer a Switch version of what? There was a Switch version for Atelier Ryza 2. I placed an order. Unless you're referring to something else?

i wonder if Coronavirus pandemic dint exist, would it helped Animal Crossing New Horizons sold so well reaching a point that is treating Mario Kart 8 Deluxe?and with a huge possibilty of becoming the highest selling Switch game, i think not a niche franchise like Animal Crossing would have sold 2/3 milions units sold until now without the help of the Coronavirus pandemic.
I think the most exciting thing for me this month for Switch is Crown Tundra. Super Mario Bros. 35 is just another battle royale, wasn't particularly excited by Steve in Smash (beat the Minecraft spirits and Steve's Classic mode so that's it for Smash for another few months), not interested in Mario Kart Live (would've much preferred a track creator mode added to MK8 Deluxe), etc.
Overall leaving Crown Tundra and Pikmin 3 for stuff I'm excited about with Crown Tundra having the slight edge.

That's because it already sold out. I have an order in. But it went fast. It was at 80% stock when I ordered which was just hours after going live. That's when I posted about it. Then, like Bruce said, it dropped from 80% to 50% in the couple hours between my reply and his, and then sold out completely the same day.
I imagine they're going to restock though given how fast it went. No way they pass up on a 2nd batch.

@JaxonH Huh, I opened up the website as soon as the email went out last night, and the Switch version wasn't there. Thought it hadn't gone on order yet.
Nah, it was Magician said about it being under 50% when he ordered his, @JaxonH .... While I just thought I'd check the Europe site for it after seeing that & it was sold out already! But I'd certainly imagine they'd restock that https://photos.app.goo.gl/rfyn5WUHNXf4xoVB8
Usually, when you go to the NISA store front page the newest preorders are plastered on the rotating advertisement banner. But preorders for the Atelier Ryza 2 CE were a little incognito. You had to highlight the preorder tab and click the Ryza 2 preorder page. Preorders opened at 12pm CST yesterday and stock quickly sold through later in the day, before the banner was even placed.
Pretty wild. I guess thicc thighs do save lives, eh?
Although it really makes me sad to see Ys IX still at over 76% stock.
Perhaps. KH is a series of about around a dozen games across several different platforms. If Nomura wasn't talking about Melody of Memory, then I wouldn't be surprised if the Switch got another KH canon spinoff game.
P.S. - Animal Crossing isn't a niche series. It was a top-five Nintendo franchise before New Horizons. Right up there with Mario, Zelda, Mario Kart, Smash, Pokémon, etc. Some folks purchase a Nintendo platform just to play Animal Crossing.
