With Jedi Outcast coming on Tuesday, I sincerely hope we get some of the other classic Star Wars games over the course of next year.

If we get a Battlefront II (2005) port I'd probably cry. That's easily one of my favorite games EVER. Having that on Switch would be a dream.

GRID Autosport is fantastic. Played a bit before work this morning (around 3:45am). Cant wait to get home and play some more, and check out the Ori demo

I'm trying not to buy anything else this month with DQ and zelda on the way but I think I'm going to cave and get puzzle quest. Putting my new link amiibo on my desk at work. So he can protect me with cuteness.

Yeah no seriously, I'm shot this month. DQ Switch, NA copy of DQ (to show support in my region even though I'm likely going to leave it boxed), Link amiibo, Snake, Squirtle, Ivysaur amiibo, Link's Awakening LE, DxM controller and I'm getting a 20 dollar eshop card tomorrow. I have to show some restraint... I want to preorder another statue. lol.

You're happy about the D-pad right? I'm a bit hesitant. I've had negative experiences with both the d-pad of the official pro controller as with the SF30Pro. It's the infamous issue where the direction input isn't registered correctly, hence false ups and downs occur all the time. Besides that, the buttons for both feel much sturdier than the old SNES controllers (in a bad way). Since I started gaming with the (S)NES' d-pad, it's quite hard to get used to something so much less precise.

Is the Pro+ d-pad significantly different from the other 2 pro controllers?

@Ryu_Niiyama Oh yeah, I forgot you also got the actual DQ console. I picked up Astral, DxM, and two each of Link's Awakening and his adowable widdle amiibo now this month. Gift set for a friend's birthday today.

@HobbitGamer Please don't say that. I passed a plasma bank yesterday and I literally slowed down because I was thinking about it. There has to be a line drawn somewhere.

Edit: I'm lucky I coudn't find Astral Chain nearby when it came out. And when DxM dropped I finally hit the timeskip for FE3H (I've been writing character studies ever since...I'm mildly annoyed that the character I expected to hate is my favorite currently) so I've been occupied with that.

@Ryu_Niiyama Hey, I never said whose plasma... I think I'm near the end of FETH now, I'm 1/4 through Astral, and I'm probably 1/4 through DxM (I started playing online for awesome parts). And I still need to finish Phoenix Wright

@toiletduck Can't speak about the SN30/Pro, but the Pro+ D-Pad is good for me. Pro Controller D-Pad is medicore, but Pro+ does the job.

@Ryu_Niiyama ....Crap. I forgot about that. Sooo I'm near the end of Blue Lion, my first run with over 70 hours. I grabbed the Wright Trilogy on Switch, and only finished the first game so far; Turns out it's been long enough that I'd completely forgotten parts of it.

September has been the most expensive month of Switch collecting to date.

Honestly, it would be cheaper if I had a drug addiction rather than a passion for gaming, lol.

You don't have to buy every game you want on release, @Magician ..... I'm glad there's not too many I want, since I have my Lite Switch coming tomorrow!

@HobbitGamer Gotcha. Yeah I'm trying not to replay games I've beaten (I had to turn my gaming pc off to keep me out of Skyrim and Fallout 4 ...even though I hate Fallout 4) right now because my back log is embarrassing. Yeah I'm working the church route. I think I'll beat that and then take a break and slot in another rpg along with Zelda. Lucky for me I don't actually like hand held games (didn't enjoy handhelds until the ds lite really and I only got that for the zelda edition) cuz I'm blind, so I have never beaten LA despite owning it. So new, super cute game!

While I've not met a Gyakuten Saiban game that I don't love, the 3rd one was fantastic...and tragic...and I wanted Iris to get a second chance and for Dahilia to die a HORRIFIC death. The Fey family is soooo messed up. I was sorta hoping more of that would come to a head in the second trilogy but it didn't. Pearl's mom is still a major threat in my opinion.

QFT. Seriously, between this and books... I'm going to go do crack. It's cheaper.

Yeah, I know. I do my best to curb buying day-one releases for retail games that are widely available, across multiple regions. If it's available at Amazon, Best Buy, Target, or Walmart usually I wait for a deep discount.

My problem is all the boutique publishers. Almost every boutique publisher opened preorders for something this past week and a half. Over a dozen games with print runs below 15k worldwide. Games I'd have to pay double msrp or more for down the road if I choose to skip a preorder now.
