@JaxonH Wow, I pity your wallet with all that double dipping. I'm willing to rebuy older games on newer, much more convenient hardware - I'll rebuy almost any game I love on Switch, but I draw the line at games I already have on the device. Only time I did that was with Splatoon 2 - because I wanted to play the American Splatfests with my friends back home in the US. Still find it odd the way they divided up so many - although many were global too toward the end.

Bestbuy GCU 20% off + BBCC 6% back and Raise 9% off eShop credit + 5% gold coins + voucher program has boiled prices down to $45 physical and $42/$52 digital (depending if it qualifies for a voucher), so that’s at least helped to mitigate the damage.

@BlueBlur101 A trailer like this is a great example of just how out of touch companies like 2k and EA can be. How this trailer was ever considered to be a good way to promote the new game, only the idiots that approved it will know.

202 up votes to 25k downvotes, if that doesn't get the message through to these companies that this nonsense is not wanted nothing will. Unfortunately I doubt it will make much difference at the end of the day,as long as they can get away with it and people keep throwing money at it, they will continue to do it.

Can someone help explain to me what "Archiving" and "Deleting" do on the Switch? I got a second SD card to put all of the games that I have already beaten on to make room on my main one. My process has been to archive and delete off of my main one, then redownload them onto my second one, then delete again on my main one since for some reason I guess redownloading them even on a different SD card makes the menu icon reappear. I just did another round tonight and noticed that none of the games I have done this with previously are on my second SD card. Does that second "deleting" somehow remove them from the SD card that is not even in the Switch at the time? I am very confused.

@BlueBlur101 I don't know anything about the game, why should people boycott it? Did 2K pull an EA and go nuts with microtransactions or something?

The reason you should boycott is simply put, because if this game doesn't fail, this casino simulator style gambling that is RATED E FOR EVERYONE BY THE ESRB will seep into all genres beyond sports games

With the halves of the years Switch has been around so far I'd rank them so far (best to worst):

1st half - 2018, 2017, 2019
2nd half - 2017, 2018

While it's too early to say whether 2nd half of 2019 is better than 2nd half of 2017 or not, I can tell already it's better than 2nd half of 2018. 2nd half of 2018 and first half of 2019 were easily the worst parts of the Switch era so far.

Gotta head to work, but started up Astral Chain, watched the intro cutscene and man, this game looks slick! Cant wait to get home and play

Okay my special edition Astral Chain just got delivered. Man that’s a bigger box than I expected, and quite elaborate in the design too. Can’t wait to start playing this!

Just wanted to take the time to talk about Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection here. I'm excited for it, it looks just as good as the other MMLCs and it has a couple of my favorite MM games on here (Mega Man Zero 3 and Mega Man ZX).

My only concern is how button mapping will work. On MMXLC, it isn't possible to map to the ZL/ZR buttons on the first three X games, probably because they were on the SNES. I really, really, really want to map the dash and sub-weapon buttons to ZL and ZR respectively, because that's where it's most comfortable.

sobs uncontrollably I just started DQB2 and Ys8, without finishing the last battle of Tales of Vesperia, and I'm only like 8 hours into FE3H!!

Hurricane Dorian closes in on us over the weekend. Definitely making sure my Switch and 3DS's are charged for when the power cuts off. This would have been the perfect opportunity to have that New Switch

@NEStalgia Man, getting bogged down in too many JRPGs isn't a good idea! You should finish Vesperia and then pick one of the other games to focus on.

@PikPi Grab a couple of big portable batteries and you'll be set for the weekend! Just hope it's not too hot where you live.
