@Magician Hold on, Doom Eternal was confirmed coming to Switch at launch? Last I heard we didn't know when it was releasing on Switch. Ugh... I might honestly get that instead of Pokemon then... that's a weird statement to say.
They are basically the same, you will hardly see any difference.
I will wait with Fe. While turnbased tactical/strategy games are my jam, I don't feel I can give it the time it deserves.
Speaking of turnbased games, if you haven't checked out darkest dungeon yet do it. It has a very interesting combat mechanic and a very dreadful theme, love the narrator. They also deliberately broke rpg conventions when they designed the game, which makes a highly unique game.
@JaxonH you're prob right. It cant be a bad game. But, having never played it's predecessors, I wouldn't know if it's a downgrade ya know. Im trying to finish bloodstained today so I start on this and crash tonight. Maybe squeeze doom 3 in

Wow. You know how sometimes you’ll hear somebody talk about something and then the next day you see what they were talking about? And you think what are the odds of that happening? Like, somebody mentions they saw a 3 foot owl whose head was spinning like the excorsist, and the next weekend you see a giant owl in your backyard trying to eat your dog
I just experienced joycon drift. Never had experienced it up to this point, but suddenly now that everyone is talking about it, it happens. I had bought a can of WD40 contact cleaner ahead of time just in case, thanks to @SpooneyTech giving me a breakdown on how to fix. And I am happy to report that it actually worked! I noticed it in Fire Emblem, when moving the cursor over tiles it would kind of slowly drift for a second after letting go. But now it’s perfect.
I recommend everyone keep account of the stuff under their bathroom sink just in case. Cheap and easy fix.

I just cleaned it with a regular piece of cloth. I’m a couple of weeks in and so far everything is fine. I wonder how many people who have drift could fix it with just a couple of swipes, still bad though...
Well, I’ve had my system for 2.5 years now, and have used the same left joycon for all of that timespan. So it’s gotten quite a bit of wear and tear.
That said, the issue lies within the housing of the Controller. So the only real way to fix it is to use the compressed air or contact cleaner, and contact cleaner seems to be the preferred solution. I do keep good care of my controllers though and routinely wipe off the white powdery substance that builds up around the shaft of the joystick from friction. I can’t say for sure but I suspect that some of that powdery substance making its way down inside under the skirt, may be the culprit (or at least one of them).
Thankfully I have a set of every color joycon there are. So if I ever have issues that I can’t fix I can just swap pairs, meaning it won’t ever really be an issue for me. Plus now that they’re offering to fix them you could just send them in. So if the problem comes back I’ll probably just swap to green and blue, then send the blue and green in (or, just the blue, since it’s only the left blue having issues).

@JaxonH I just noticed that in Marseilles site there's a third new product, the mClassic. It's not out yet, it's on indieGoGo..... But it addresses my main issue with the m-Cable. It's not built into a cable. Its the gaming model, but in a separate dongle, AND has an on/off switch plus a retro mode for 480p content!
No idea when I'll be out, but it looks like they're already making the better version i wanted! Might still get a regular for now though.
