@JaxonH Very nice. NISA puts out a lot of really nice looking special editions.
It's cool that all the Disgaea games seem to be coming to Switch, although, owning a perfectly satisfactory portable version of D4 on my Vita, I can't bring myself to buy it again.
Haven’t touched my switch for a while but it did have a lot of use from the kids and after 5 days I can say I’ve found the solution to use for joycon drifting.
I found this in screwfix in uk and it absolutely works. Move the stick to the left or right and squirt a little under the rubber flap on to the ball tip of the stick and 360 the stick for a while (30 seconds) then let it sit.
Enjoy. Just in time for Mario Maker. This should also work on the pro controller.
Those October release dates are slowly filling in. Gonna end up being a stacked month like July and September.
September is just going to be a crazy month, my wallet is too small for it. Just think if Animal Crossing was in there too, I don't know what I'd do.
Right now, I'm sinking my teeth into Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and in a moment I'm going to play Mario Maker 2!
In the future, I can't wait to grind some New Horizons and Link's Awakening!

@1UP_MARIO Thanks!! I’ll check if Lowe’s has some this weekend in case I need it. I knew of the solution, but nothing ever mentioned a specific cleaner brand so this is wonderful.

@HobbitGamer Joy con drift was the reason I bought a pro controller. Tried many different solutions and brands and this just did it’s magic. You can even lift the rubber skirt under the joy con stick with the straw to spray.
Really hope it works for you and others
We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.

I mean, nobody's surprised, it's stating the obvious, but at least they've finally stated it.
Absolutely, it is exciting that Nintendo acknowledges the existence of something beyond NES games for NSO, if you're a casual Switch owner. But for the core audience like us it's similar to the Switch Mini situation. It's not a matter of "if" but "when". 20+ SNES games were discovered in the NSO code months ago.
Switch Physical Collection - 1,561 games (as of April 18th, 2026)
Switch 2 Physical Collection - 4 games (as of December 8th, 2025)
Final Fantasy VIII Remastered is getting a full physical release just like Final Fantasy X/X-2 and Final Fantasy XII. That’s so awesome.
It’s already up for preorder on Play-Asia, both NA and EU versions. And while I have seen them post listings for games that don’t end up getting physical releases, I have never once seen them actually open the pre-orders and start selling the game unless it’s 100% confirmed coming.

Meh, I'd exercise caution. Firstly, Square Enix hasn't officially announced the physical release. Secondly, Play-Asia has notoriously opened preorders for physical releases that never materialize (Phantasy Star Online 2, Masters of Anima, etc). Although there is some credence towards FFVIII Remastered getting a physical release because Gamefly also has it in their "upcoming" list. I'm just saying...don't be surprised if you get a refund and an apology from Play-Asia.
P.S. - Just as an aside as more proof to my point, Play-Asia is still taking preorders for N.E.R.O. and Warhammer 40k Deathwatch. The physical release for both of those games were officially cancelled months ago.
Oh, I’m not actually ordering from there. That would be a waste. If the game is getting a physical release I’ll buy it in my own region with 20% off at BestBuy via GCU and another 6% back with their CC.
But to your PS, even if they are still taking orders for those games, physical versions were actually in the works. Those were real, actual physical versions that were coming. They may have canceled the game and they still have the listing up but the point is those listings were not just made up for a physical version that was never actually planned.
I’m sure there’s one or two examples that exist out in the ether where that’s not the case (because there always is), but I follow their listings quite often and while they put dummy listings up for every big game in all three main regions, 99 times out of 100 they don’t actually slap a price on it and open preorders unless it’s legit and coming. Otherwise they usually leave off the price and label it with a “coming soon” tag.
