@Ralizah @JaxonH

Wow, really showing Yoshi's Crafted World the love there

Anyways I honestly don't expect Bayonetta 3 to release in 2019 at all. I think it's a Spring 2020 title. Prime 4 is probably October 2020.

Honestly expecting SMT V to be a Fall 2020 release... in Japan. Spring 2021 in the west.

I forgot about it too. Always forget about that game, even though it really does look great.

I think you may be right about SMT. Metroid Prime and Bayo3 though? Idk, it will have been 2-2.5 years by holiday 2019. I think we have a real chance of seeing these games. Nothing certain but, a real chance.

If we dont though, that just means those slots will be taken by other games in their stead, so either way doesn't make much difference to me.

I happened upon some Yoshi's Crafted World treehouse footage the other day. The graphics look terrific, but I was disappointed by the gameplay - it just looked exactly the same game as Woolly World. I didn't watch much of it, so obviously one can expect a few transformations and variations to the gameplay along the way, but I am not excited by it.

You guys had me at blood and semen.

What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?

Nothing is true. Everything is permitted.

Having played Woolly World to 100% completion back in 2015, I've gotten my Yoshi fill for another few years yet.

@Knuckles-Fajita This may or may not be meant to bring new gamers into the Pokemon fold, but that ad is laser-targeted at people who grew up in the 90's. Right down to the editing that's meant to evoke the imagery of the original English op. Holy crud!

Seems pretty clear that Let's Go is mainly targeting older GO fans who are lapsed pokemon gamers.

It worked for me. I’m loving Let’s Go, and I’m on my way to Mt Moon. Say what you wild about the wild encounter changes, but I prefer the new method of seeing them and chasing them down. On the flip side, it’s easier to avoid an upteenth Rattata.

Ohmygerd Let's Go Eevee is so gosh darned cute! (also I now have matching green joycons thanks to the mario party bundle)

And as someone who isn't a lapsed Pokémon fan (because I've simply never actually been a fan) Pokémon Let's Go is working for me, too.

The game is soooo much more fun than I expected. Like, the single joycon. At first, I resented it. At first, I was like this is weird, why can I only play with both in handheld mode? 30 min later, and it's "ya know, this works pretty well... I like this!". At first I was cautious about only throwing Pokeballs to catch Pokémon. 30 min later, I'm just rockin and rollin, having a good old time trying to catch Pokémon with proper aiming and timing when the circle is the large... I love it!

Then I'm quickly in my first battle, and I'm like ok, that didn't take long. When it was over I started wondering how often I would be doing battles. Not 3 min later and I'm in another battle. I realized there's a very nice balance between catching and battling, with the core loop of the gameplay being "battling Pokémon to earn cash to buy Pokeballs to catch Pokémon to use in battles to earn cash to...." It's very well done.

And the game looks great. I heard several individuals say it didn't look that good but I think the game looks fantastic, both on hand held and on the TV. No complaints whatsoever. I also like the 360° of motion because, as I recall, when I tried to play one of the games on 3DS I could only move in 8 directions. Maybe I'm remembering wrong but I could swear it was Pokémon on 3DS that I'm thinking of.

And best yet, the drop in drop out co-op is IMMACULATE. Second joycon can be activated for taking pics, without a 2nd player being there. Anytime I want the second player to drop in I just shake the joy con and they are immediately beside me. Shake it again and poof, they're gone. So instantaneous, so awesome. I was running around controlling both characters, each with a separate joycon. Flashbacks to The World Ends With You.

So ya, very pleased with this game. I also saw my old co-worker Xavier was playing Pokémon. He's a big Xbox gamer who likes The Division and other MP games and stuff like that. He got a Switch when he saw me and a bunch of other people always talking about Splatoon. But I haven't seen him online in like a year, aside from a recent bout of Fortnite 2 when it dropped. He played some Splatoon 2 and Mario Kart 8 right after, but then dropped off the map again. I was legit shocked when I saw he was playing Pokémon Let's Go. He's the type of hardcore Xbox gamer/casual Switch gamer that only owns like three games for Switch, and goes for months without playing the system. But he was into Pokémon GO big time back when it was poppin. So it looks like this game brought him back to the table. Really surprising because I've never seen him play a single player game before. He's pretty much exclusively a multiplayer gamer.

@Grumblevolcano
If the remasters were coming to other platforms you'd have likely seen an announcement for XB1 already

One could have said the exact same thing about Final Fantasy for a long time... then out of nowhere, they were announced for Xbox One and Switch simultaneously.

And that's precisely what I expect to see with Kingdom Hearts. Wake up one morning, and there it is. Kingdom Hearts Collection 1.5 + 2.5 + 2.8 + 3.0 all announced for Switch and Xbox One. I figure it'll be a while. But I am confident it's going to happen. There's just no way they don't bring KH to Switch. It has a history on Nintendo and has never missed a portable Nintendo system since GBA. So if the previously Sony exclusive Final Fantasy games can get announced for Switch, no way they decide to pass on Kingdom Hearts.

^^This. All of this. I wish people that hate on it could just have like a 30 minute demo, because the gameplay is good. Even the changes and straight removals and simplification... it just works. Some NP. Wanted me to catch 5 Growlithe, I wound up spending 20 minutes chasing jigglypuffs in a field. It’s just fun.

My kids played the Let's go games from the time they got home from school at 3 until about 10. So much joy on their faces while they we playing. I don't care of this isn't what people wanted out of a Pokémon game but this far it certainly seems like $200 well spent. Looking forward to them playing all weekend!

Not going to lie, this is me all over. Never played a Pokémon game in my life, never been interested in it, but this has got me into it and the fact that Pika and Eevee are cute as fist! 😂

Also my wife has stolen my Switch so I'm going to buy an Eevee edition console in the week 😂
