@Buizel I've been there since Resident Evil Revelations 2.

And then again after Cosmic Star Heroine was announced.

Bottom line, I'm only buying exclusives on other platforms going forward.

Except for Resident Evil 2. I don't mind only being able to play that on a TV, and it looks amazing.

@Knuckles-Fajita I thought the character models outside a few looked ugly as sin. Nearly as bad as an N64 game.

The scale of Shenmue was AMAZING at the time. There was nothing quite like it.

@Spoony_Tech If AGES goes into Saturn/Dreamcast territory I could see us getting the games that way instead. Kind of like what happened with the Genesis collection.

@Knuckles-Fajita Why would that be a reason? The game's also on PC and Xbox, at least in the west.

Maybe it's similar to the Mega Drive Collection...holding out for SEGA Ages?

@Ralizah I'm tempted to go for Resi but never played the original. So far I've ended up double dipping on...Mario Kart 8, DK Tropical Freeze, Crash, Freedom Planet, Okami, Doom, Megaman Legacy Collection 1 + 2, Pokken, Bayonetta, Owlboy, Rayman Legends, and Shovel Knight...so 13 games? And I'm considering Tales of Vesperia.

@Buizel Yeah, but it's only on PC and Xbox, in the West. In Japan, where Switch is huge, it's only on PS4 complete with special deals.

And with how Shenmue 3 is locked to PS4 and PC....no guesses needed.

As for AGES, well they SAID if the other games do well, they MAY move to Saturn and Dreamcast stuff too.

I'm not buying Sonic 1 again. It's not even that great of a game. Sonic 3 + Knuckles or bust!

Phantasy Star is all I'm planning on downloading at the moment.

Sonic 1 has the Drop Dash and that means the pacing will be better, much less stop and go.

@Knuckles-Fajita I don't see how that is a reason, you're just describing the situation.

Who knows the logic with a lot of these publishers though. I certainly wouldn't be surprised to see Shenmue come to the Switch, given that it performs decently on other platforms.

@Ralizah I would certaily buy Sonic 1 and 2 again if they released the Android versions. They are excellent. But otherwise I would agree.

@Buizel The reason is part of the situation. Sony wants Shenmue associated with them in Japan, and Shenmue 3 console exclusivity is part of that.

At current, Mania's enough 2D Sonic for me. More 3D Sonic would be nice though.

@Knuckles-Fajita That is fair, I guess we don't know the full extent of Sony's relationship with Suzuki regarding Shenmue 3. But 1+2 being on Xbox and PC does tell me that they at least have a chance of coming to Switch.

Ah well, I'm perfectly happy with it on PC tbh.

@IceClimbers Have they tried turning the Switch off then reloading (that sorted problems out in the past lol)

I've just read a tweet saying Grandia 1 and 2 HD are coming to the Switch.
