@IceClimbers Oh no, we have to buy around 5 million copies of Resident Evil 4 before Capcom would consider the Switch viable for more Resident Evil games, a whole year later

I really hope we eventually get all the older RE titles on Switch. Re4 on Switch with motion controls and HD rumble is a dream. 0, 1, 2, 3 and Code Veronica would also be awesome.
@DuskformLycanroc I was wondering how long it would take for that game to hit the Switch. I've heard good things. Another one to add to the list.
@KryptoKrunch Oh man, there are so many good classic RE titles they could launch on Switch. I'll be satisfied as long as we get 0 and REmake, but ports of the PS1 games, Code Veronica, Resident Evil 4... oh man, that'd be awesome!
This is a long shot, but I'd LOVE if they ported the RE Outbreak games onto the Switch!
While the above trailer has no Switch release, I hear that it's going to have Switch release in a few months in the Kickstarter update! Anyone planning to grab this too?
I looked at the trailer and it's looking really great! Reminds me of Recettear but with harder gameplay.
Is this DRAGON QUEST XI game which has a long winding road towards a Switch release - the same game that we saw footage from in several of the early Switch unveiling videos?
I'm not familiar with the series but can vividly recall an RPG with colourful graphics and art with a character riding a horse shown in videos in early 2017 as part of the Switch unveiling.
Just curious if this recent news about DRAGON QUEST XI is referring to that game?
@Octane Yes, that's defintely the same game. Indeed, most likely was footage from another system but at least I haven't hallucinated. This game was included in clips of upcoming games for Switch very early on in the Switch's lifecycle and pre-March 2017 too.
@Lroy I see. Well, Square Enix have been teasing a Switch version since before we even knew what the Switch was, so it's likely that it ended up in one of the many ''Upcoming Switch Games'' videos on YouTube.
@Octane No, no. I'm talking about actual Nintendo published videos for the Switch. I'll need to go back and check but I think it was included in the January Japanese Switch presentation? I'm hazy on the order of these things but seem to recall it being shown as part of a sizzle reel of upcoming games within that presentation and possibly even within a Direct-style video Nintendo put out soon afterwards.
Essentially, I'm reflecting on the fact. I've seen this game being promoted as a Nintendo Switch game by Nintendo as early as early 2017. I had then heard nothing and assumed it was already released in maybe Japan.
Just surprised that a game announced for Switch so early, has yet to come out on that system in any territory.
Weren't those DRAGON QUEST HEROES games also supposed to be coming to Nintendo Switch? I had the Japanese Demo since launch but can't recall seeing this game on the European eShop? Japan only most likely.
