@Azooooz
Hahahaha...
Those "Nintendo Pro" fans who adore Smash Bros are same like Sony / Xbox player who just only want to play FIFA games, not playing other games but that Soccer game.
I just wonder, what it called those Syndrome ?
Blind Fanatic ?
Next month I am going for a while to South-America, traveling through the continent. I will be in planes, buses and trains very often. There is a lot of news about the Switch in the USA, Japan and Europe but nothing about South-America. Does Nintendo serve this market or isn't this a gaming market at all? I am curious if I will see some Switch users when I am traveling.
I am also curious about your experiences during transportation in your country. Do you see many Switch users when you are in the bus, train or plane? Here in Holland I almost see nobody with a Switch in public, while this is the strategy of Nintendo. But when I use my Switch in public, people are curious about it and want to look on my screen what I am doing.
Can we play DOOM with the pump action shotgun? Come on, that's where Labo is at
@Octane
Not here, I think people here have a little more sense, but elsewhere people most definitely were lol
I didn't even bother responding to those people. Just like, yup, you go ahead and believe that buddy. But don't worry, I'll give a nice facepalm on your behalf when the time comes
Psalms 22:16 (1,000 yrs before Christ)
They pierced My hands and feet
Isaiah 53:5 (700 yrs before Christ)
He was pierced for our transgressions
I usually don'use Switch in public. I have OCD so I'm not the most inclined person to do so. I have almost always it with me but I usually take it out and use it only in private places like my home or when I am with close friends.
I use 3DS in public but not often. Here in Italy you often see children playing with DS or 3DS and adults playing some Puzzle bobble clone (or something like that) on tablets
Once I saw an adult guy on a train who kept a 3DS in front of him the whole trip but I'm pretty sure it was not even turned on. He did not push any button and I couldn't hear any music or sound coming from it. Weird lol
I used to be a ripple user like you, then I took The Arrow in the knee
Haha, I'm quite sure South America is kind of getting the same treatment as us people in South East Asia, just import and stuff- and that game console is even more of a luxury than pc gaming. (Although I hear that the South America people are getting games even pricier than us, so ouch).
And about the using Switch in transportation... not really, but then again I don't really use public transportation much (since I don't go far, I just use Uber/Grab-kind since it's cheap and easy). Be glad you can play your Switch in public without being ridiculed or sized by others to be pickpocketed because it must mean you are rich.
@Snadertjuh
Me too.
I am in Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia.
So far, i am the only one who bring Nintendo Switch on public frequently.
Maybe there are some Indonesian gamers also bring their Switch, but i still haven't ever meet them.
You are so lucky have some curious people with Switch
Here in Indonesia, almost nobody cares if you play something.
Their ignorance level, tho....
I'm getting joycons sent in myself due to a severe drifting issue. Though I'm trying to wait until I get the chance to test it out with other joycons, to make sure the joycons are the problem, or else they want me to send the whole Switch in.
@Nicolai My original left joycon does that all the time and drives me insane. Not sending in my system just for a joycon though. I tend to use my other set more but the left one of those doesn't lock into the system very good. Darn left socks.....I mean joycons.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.

I've learned to just ignore it all. If you're going to use the internet for your intake of news and stuff, try to find some places that you trust and forum goers whose opinions you actually value.
I used to get worked up over IGN comments and all that. Just not good for your health. I pretty much stick to this site and Kotaku, and at Kotaku I stop reading after the article - no comments lol
There are some usernames on this site even that I see and totally skip their comment: I know what it will probably entail and I know that it's not worth me reading it.
Has konami announced anything for the switch this year? I thought they stated if sales of Bomberman were good they would revive other franchises (if the bomberman character lineup is any indication a new rumble roses and Castlevania may not be out of the question). Same with capcom other than the new megaman and ports is there anything new on the horizon?
I have to say Riptide Renegade is a pretty decent game, especially at its current price. I bought it earlier off the South African Eshop for roughly £4.40 and it's worth every penny. I could have had it even cheaper if I'd just bought it when it was on sale on the US Eshop for $5 which is around £3.60.It's £4.99 currently on the UK Eshop but even if I'd paid the full £9.99 before it went on sale I wouldn't have had any regrets. It has a lengthy career mode and I've just had a few online races, found a few opponents easily. If you like arcade racing games then I'm sure you'll have some fun with this.
@GameOtaku Aside from Metal Gear Survive and PES, what else does Konami do? Metal Gear Survive is getting a lot of hate for obvious reasons and will probably flop and PES is... well, PES.
