Oh, for goodness sake.... A game not being exclusive to Nintendo isn’t the end of the world.
Atlus is showing this in their stream, not on Nintendo’s like it was the case with #FE. It is absolutely valid to wait and see what the developers have decided, and they will show that tomorrow, in an environment not directly related to either of the three big companies.
Can it be exclusive to Switch? Yes. Can it be a dual release on Switch and PS4? Yes. Can it be a timed exclusive? Yes. We haven’t heard anything on the game. All new info has come from Atlus website, not Nintendo’s.
It'll be Switch/PS4. When they revealed the game they said there was a 3DS version and they said there was a "console version". If it was exclusive to Switch they would've just said Switch version.
Not that it matters though. Game existing somewhere else doesn't make it less fun to play on Switch. PS4 is the go to home console and it's going to get practically every game now. Which is great. Still not gonna buy it for anything but Switch. There is nothing in this world that can make me choose another version over Switch if given the choice (provided it doesn't have performance issues or something, obviously)
I think it's safe to assume that most, if not all of the franchises that were 3DS exclusive will go multiplatform. We've seen it already with Dragon Quest, with Monster Hunter, and now with Inazuma Eleven. We're bound to see it with Shin Megami Tensei, and mostly likely with Layton and Yokai Watch.
Ace Attorney was technically already multiplatform, but it wouldn't surprise me if we see it come to PS4 as well
I can't say I'll miss a website when I never really used it.I only really know of Neogaf from being mentioned on here whenever a new rumour starts to do the rounds If someone has some juicy info they want to share, Neogaf seems to be the go to place. Or at least it was until its owner was allegedly a naughty boy.
One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 Deluxe Edition from Bandai Namco (their 3rd Switch game following Dragonball Xenoverse 2 and One Piece: Unlimited World Red). Will include all 42 pieces of DLC content including extra episodes.
I'm liking Bandai's nudging support. There's still a lot of games they have that I would like to see announced but it's nice to see them steadily announcing more. I think it's a great sign that they are seeing satisfactory sales and that can only mean good things moving forward with regard to some of their other games.
@JaxonH Nice! This might be the first warriors game i’d have to pick up. How does this game compare to World Red? It always seemed to me that the warriors game was more fun.
40 minutes to go for the SMT stream... will it be a new mainline game or a remake of Nocturne, which are the rumors I’ve seen floating around? Place your bets!
