I must stress using Friend Codes means I don't get added to the spam message groups like I do on PS4 because my name is visible and that's what adds me

Yet I still get random friend requests from Kart or Testpunch players...

You guys know the leaked images for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo Switch, which was confirmed fake?
Well, here is the creator himself.

That was a very good fake and hope the game does remake the 3DS levels and modes for the Switch

I know it might not be the case, though I hope it is.

So Take Two is going to be "selective" about what games they bring to the switch. I get that companies don't want to burn money, but what I still don't understand is the mentality that holding back games will somehow result in higher sales or goodwill for the games they do bring over. Its like devs don't realize that they are in competition with a large number of other devs. This kind of attitude makes me not want to buy any games at all from devs that do this. I've got a back log that will last me till I'm 80 and a preorder list that will net me at least two games a month for the rest of the year. Just put games on the system and let the consumers decide where they want to game.

@MarcelRguez I think at the least we'll get the Wii U version + all DLC included. Which I still think is a good deal

Well, Pac-Maze at least is an almost literal impossibility with TV play (the idea supposed to be the ghosts turning blue only for the one who grabs a Power Pellet). Then there are stages that would feel redundant (Brinstar) or just plain wouldn't look too good (Game Boy Dream Land).

Nintendo just updated their online services page.

They've delayed the start for paid services to 2018.

There will be three payment options:
-1 month membership for $3.99
-3 month membership for $7.99
-12 month membership for $19.99

Also they mention a "Classic Games Selection" that suggests a PS Now style service rather than a rotating game rental every month.

That is excellent news. I was actually expecting to pay higher than that for the 1-year membership!

Yes! Im very happy with that price. Especially since I won't always be playing online, it's so cheap that it'll be easy to just have access when I actually do need it

The cost of the service is very good news,the delay of the service until 2018 is not.So it wont arrive for another 7 months at least and could be as far off as 19 months.It's unlikely that it'll take that long of course but still,why didn't they say early 2018 if it was coming sooner?

So it looks like VC won't be arriving until next year either.

Definitely worth the money.

@OorWullie Surely all that means is that it will be free for longer, won't it? Sure, the "Classic Games Section" thing don't come til later, as well as VC, but there's no way Splatoon 2 and ARMS are releasing with no online.

On a side note it's technically $25 for Pokemon players if you account for the yearly $5 Bank fee.
