Topic: Wargroove

Small chance that I may be able to get this game next month. As for which version, I've no idea, most likely the Switch. Unless they surprise us and the Steam version gets Workshop support. owo

@Joeynator3000 It really depends if you want to be able to play it in handheld mode. Other than that, I think it would be really sweet to be able to play both the matches and the map editor with a mouse.

Switch has portability, but then again I don't take my Switch out often anyways. I may end up with both versions, because this game getting Steam Workshop would be epic.

Finally ran into a mission I couldn't beat on the first attempt. My streak is ended. I wonder, is Act 5 the difficulty spike people were talking about? I think I am gonna get it this time. In my first run I was too reckless with Koji and I was unprepared for all of Sedge's air units. I just wish we got a few more units to start, or had access to a second barracks...

@Heavyarms55 I actually just beat that one about a half hour ago actually. I turtled up beneath the 2 bridges and tried to pick their units off mostly with archers and a trebuchet. I also had some infantry and 2 of the sorcerers for the air troops. Once I got the dragons, it was a quick destruction.

I am having trouble with Act 7, Mission 2.

@Heavyarms55 I'm on that one right now. Twice a dragon got one of my generals. I reaaly like this map. It's the first time you geg to play with all the troop types at once.

I hope they show some DLC in the Direct later. It's unlikey though.

@Grandiajet No I think that's a different level. The one I am talking about, I have dragons on my side for the first time and Sedge has a ridiculous horde bearing down on me.

@Heavyarms55 Ah yeah. I died on that level once. You just need to be careful. I'm sure you'll get it next time.

New patch incoming, the new difficulty balancing sounds a lot better. The default difficulty settings does feel like a hard mode.

The first mission of act two is definitely a step up. The problem with no save during missions is I’m not sure I can be bothered replaying it straight away having lost my king on move 14 just outside the AI’s barracks.

This is part of the patch where u can save ur progress in game so should u die u can return to that point.

No, wargroove developers have released a video showing all the improvements but no date have been given.
