It's probably just me but Tomodachi Life on 3DS is like my most played game on it and I still play it now and, well a switch port or even a sequel to it on the switch would be amazing. Do you agree or am is this just an unpopular opinion?

Yo !
I'm here.
You are not alone.
I play Tomodachi Life 3DS too, also with Miitopia.
Well....not too frequent lately...

Anyway, i really want a sequel of Tomodachi Life / Miitopia with more polished gameplay (With very clear Objections) for Switch.
But, since Nintendo being ruled by Tatsumi Kimishima, Mii existence seems being forgotten.
Mii is Not placed as a Mandatory part of Switch, still No Miis included on any Switch games except Mario Kart 8 Deluxe & Gotouchi Tetsudou for Nintendo Switch.

Dude, I have no clue how westerners didn't like Tomodachi Life. Like the way I played that game was possibly the most fun I've had on the 3DS. Every day I added a new character from my favorite pieces of media, from childhood to now, alternating male to female. Some memorable examples were: Timmy from Fairly Odd Parents, Mary Poppins, Barack Obama (more of a joke here lol, he got divorced four different times), Samus from Metroid, John Marshton from Red Dead Redemption, Female Shepard from Mass Effect, and a ton more.

I think one of the biggest issues people had was they went too fast and added too many characters in one go. Adding all your friends is fine, but add them slowly and you grow attached to the mii instead of just being another throwaway.

Not gonna lie though, looking back on some of the songs I made... let's just say they were a little "cringy".

A new one for Switch would be great, and while they have been decentralizing the mii's I don't think having a specific singular game for them would be too bad. I would have a problem with more "Wii" series with them though.

People might think I'm childish for my picture, and I am.
Favorite games: Super Mario Odyssey, Super Metroid, Mass Effect 2, Red Dead Redemption, and Sonic Generations
If you like Kirby, then you are a person I can trust.

I came in here thinking Tamagotchi. (or however you spell it, lol)
I honestly want a sequel to that game, more customization options for Miis to make them more unique and all that.

A sequel, definitely!

TL as a 3ds game is still just as entertaining to play as when it came out, so not just a straight port.
But something that builds even more on the first game or takes it to a new location would have me throwing my money at Nintendo, lol.

Yes please I wish we got Tomodachi Collection but I am so glad we got Tomodachi Life so please beg Nintendo for Tomodachi 3 but what would they call it?

i rather have a sequel than a port tbh.

Tomodachi Life for Switch (and Miitopia while were at it!) Probably the two best games on the 3DS.

Once I was disappointed that the 3DS got Wii U highlights like Smash Bros. 4 and Mario Maker, but Wii U didn't get equal 3DS highlights like Tomodachi Life and Miitopia.

Absolutely loved Tomodachi Life and Miitopia. The British accents were a nice touch in the European version (I'm Australian, so I really appreciate that we got the European version of this as our accents are closer to the Poms than the Yanks), though in any future instalments, I hope they give us a choice as well as it gives us a wider range of voices to play with. Both games became a touch too repetitive and tiresome after a while, but most games become tiresome after a good while I suppose.

I have recently started playing Miitopia again on a daily basis (namely the three randomly generated missions that appear at the hub post game) and I'm very close to having unlocked everything.

The lack of voices in Miitopia was baffling considering that the voices in Tomodachi Life were completely computer-generated anyway. Surely it would not have been difficult to implement considering that the framework was already in place in Tomodachi Life (and the game could potentially have had fully voiced dialogue). Nevertheless, I have enjoyed Miitopia immensely as well. However, I found myself missing the ability to get married and have children. I think at least some kind of Fire Emblem-esque support mechanics should be included (optionally of course) in a Miitopia sequel.

I would also love an open-world Tomodachi Life where we can visit our neighbours and visit the facilities in the town at will rather than just being (mostly) passive observers. These should still be randomly generated for Miis that are not being directly controlled by the player in order to make the world feel truly alive, and this change could exponentially increase the life of the game. With a console game workload and retail price to match, Nintendo can go all out with a sequel. If ever there was a Sims killer (other than EA themselves), it's this.

"Gee, that's really persuasive. Do you have any actual points to make other than to essentially say 'me Tarzan, physical bad, digital good'?"

@Silly_G
I would like to see Animal Crossing Switch = Sims killer. Throw a lot of Cute furnitures, A lot of customization, building the houses & island like Portal Knights / Dragon Quest Builder, Open World like BOTW, Farming & cooking like Harvest Moon series, it will Instantly feel like in Heaven.

Same here. I loved Tomodachi Life and Miitopia too.

You can choose a job (first mini game is interview, lol!)

Would love that there is a job mini game to it. Like you "work" (depend on how many star you earn on that day job), adds up to a set number to get a promotion. Each days earn a little bit of play coins so you can buy furnitures, clothing, gifts for friends.

You can buy bigger room and/or small house (they let you move into a house after you got married in TL, so having a house seems fine) to customize it with furnitures.

If we can see and add real people and also communicate with them in the game in RL like chat, exchange gifts and all, I think I don't mind paying the $20 to join their NSO just to play.

My Brain, eyes, and fingers are not team player. They don't coordinate with each other.

You know, the funniest thing on Tomodachi Life that i had done was..... creating Indonesian lyrics by using English pronounce. (Since i'm Indonesian)
Let me tell you some examples.
I want my Mii to say "Kecoak" (Cockroah in English), so i will type Ke Chow Wuck (And my Mii said "Kecoak" exactly like in Indonesian pronounce by using English pronounce.
Another examples,
I want my Mii say "Astaga, itu jijik sekali" (Oh my gosh, that was so disgusting), so i type Us Tha Ga Ee Too G Jick Se Kha Lee, and my Mii said that perfectly in Indonesian pronounce.

And i had created 7 different songs (Pop, Musical, Rap, Opera, Ballad, Techno & Metal) and all about Kecoak (Cockroach).

1. Kiss me, Kecoak ! (Kiss me, Cockroach !) (Pop)
2. Kecoak Selebritis (Celebrity Cockroach) (Musical)
3. Kecoak Ganas (Wild Cockroach) (Rap)
4. Tragedi Kecoak (Cockroach's Tragedy) (Opera)
5. Jangan Menangis, Kecoak ! (Don't Cry, Cockroach !) (Ballad)
6. Kecoak Alien (E.T. Cockroach) (Techno)
7. Kecoak Gila (Crazy Cockroach) (Metal)

Funny isn't it ?

@Anti-Matter It's funny you can come up with so many songs juts for roaches.

1. Kiss me, Kecoak ! (Kiss me, Cockroach !) (Pop)

OMG! I really don't like bugs. Cockroaches especially the flying kinds I don't think I'll ask them to kiss me

To think about it, players can hang out in Splatoon "plaza" (I don't know what they call it) simple chat, draws, dance, (don't know what else ,lol!)
So implement that to TL would be fun. Add shops where you can buy and sell/trades you don't want or if you have a job making furnitures, cooks (like cooking mama), you can sell them. Mining? Fishing? Omg! Am I slowly moving towards Animal crossing now?

But yeah, for you @Anti-Matter creating song can act as an artist job, rating points score play coins? (something like that?)

Super Smash Bros will also include Mii's which gives me hope. I really hope there is a sequel.

I might as well list out the main two things I'd want.

1.) Gay, Bisexual and Asexuality for miis. I have friends who aren't just heterosexual. and would really enjoy to be able to include more relationship diversity.

2.) Set family relationships for miis. When I put family in the game, often times they will fall in love with my mii children and I wanna go and stop any potential insect in my game. Like a family tree mechanic or something.

There are other things but those are the main two.
