@Eel Ugh, I know how you feel. Well, if you never want to see the Wind Tower again, I hope you found the Idol there. If not, do a wrong combination until you end up on a large plateau of poison. It's in the top left corner.

I had the same issue with the pirate level. For some reason, even after 118% voucher chance increase, it did NOT want to give me a voucher for the oceanhorse, of all creatures. I had to kill 100 to finally get one. I then proceeded to fight two other oceanhorse spawns and of COURSE I got another voucher in that last battle.

The mushroom event was way more giving! Only took me about 8 runs to fill up the vouchers, and it even gave me two of those mushroom baskets that give you a voucher increase. I do feel however I am missing out on a secret still. I did find the underground part but not sure if there is still something there.

@Daniel36 oh I found that one very early on, it just took me noticing the “bad” path changed once, for me to repeatedly enter it until it stopped changing 😅

On the mushroom level, I’m only missing the Fakemusher card, but on the bright side I do have four of the baskets so far. I’m up to a 112% natural voucher boost from equipment now. So it should make other hunts easier. Hopefully.

@Eel I probably have an extra one for you if you end up not finding one, but I doubt you won't find one. Maybe I should go basket hunting, hahah. They are nice items.

Daniel36

Eel

@Daniel36 oh I do think I’ll continue running the quest even after getting the voucher, these baskets give a great boost and don’t seem to be as unobtainable as other rare drops.

So in the event, when you go into the caves, there is a part with some fences and you can search it to find "a poisonous smell", and the map indicates a switch nearby and another corridor south, but there is no switch and I don't know what to do. Anyone have an idea?

Daniel36

Daniel36

@Eel Wow, I COMPLETELY forgot about him. But that still leaves the hidden pathway right under it. Can't find a way to it.

Daniel36

Daniel36

@Eel Well, I'll be. Another hidden path? I was kinda sure I scoured the village already. Where exactly?

Daniel36

Eel

@Daniel36 it can be found by hugging the west-side wall of the village, there’s not a lot down there so don’t worry if you can’t find it in time.

@Eel That was indeed delightfully underwhelming. But the completionist in me is at ease.

@Daniel36 I am still playing! I'm at around 115 hours now. Been enjoying trying to get the All of all the abilities. Still working on Mighty and Excite for the rare ones after spending some jewels to get a breeding pair in Rare Catch. For normal breeding, just trying to get the Insult and Haste abilities now, for All. Every week or two, I load up on 8-16 more Denpa Men from the wild.

And funny about your Gold run. I did basically the same thing yesterday. Used Crit bonus and gold increase, and I came away from Saturday with about 100,000 gold. Got me some decorations for my island to fiddle with.

Eel

I spent half of the gold I made on the get gold level and maxed out my raffle tickets.

Ended up with a lot of strawberry seeds.

@Daniel36 @Eel I agree with you both. Wind Tower is terrible. About to try to get that stupid Idol. I forgot about that poison area. I have all the vouchers in Wind Tower, and I never want to see it again. That was such a chore.

utopianmachine

Daniel36

@utopianmachine Yeah, I think I passed the 100 hour mark as well, but I do not have many special Denpa Men, I'm afraid. Well, except 6 Event catches (FOMO for the win) I somehow do not get really interesting looking ones from birthing, and I am not really looking for the All versions or anything. Even though I spend a lot of time in the game, I am still playing casually.

I am, however, trying to get all the vouchers, so that's where my focus is at right now. That and making my island pretty.

I got lucky with 2 hours infinite stamina, so I did the Get Gold event 5 times in a row. Almost have all the vouchers and about 300K in gold. Obviously spent 100K on the Casino, which is almost gone. I wonder if there is a trick to getting a huge jackpot.

I know the game is cheating, because every time the dealer in the slot machine gets a 2 or 3, I am bound to get a 1, almost like clockwork. So I am guessing the game just wants to see me push my "luck" to the limits to get that big jackpot, but that is EXPENSIVE.

Wind Tower was a bit of a chore, but it gets easier once you know exactly where to go. Same with the Pirate level. At first, I had NO idea where to go, and all the monsters were hugely overpowered. Then, I finally had some time to figure everything out and after leveling up sufficiently and doing all the quests, I was able to rush it for vouchers. Luckily done with that one too.

Casino is next, which I find more of a chore, since there are so few of the last monsters that getting a voucher is going to take a lot of time, I am sure. I am probably going to spend 3 jewels at catching a Denpa with that camouflage skill, so I can at least run up to the teeth.

Daniel36

Daniel36

Well, the camo guy doesn't work on the teeth, they still run. Huge waste of 3 jewels. At least he looks really cool, hopefully will create an even cooler Denpa from birth.

I’m currently working on the vouchers for Casino Town too, and let me tell you, I’ve defeated probably like 200 shock rays and dark dragons and nothing.

The rays in particular haven’t given me anything at all, not even pity drops. The dragons at least gave me a set of wings and the occasional pitaya.

It’s less annoying than Wind Tower but it’s pushing its luck.

For the incisors, don’t worry too much about getting the voucher in that level, you can get it in the Get Exp event too.

Edit: ah complaining was all I needed for the shock rays to give out something, and it was the voucher! Only the dragon is left and then I can stop visiting that level.

@Eel I had 200% Voucher chance increase, and nothing. Doesn't help that you get maybe 4 Shock Rays and 3 Dragons if you are lucky. Annoying. At least it's a pretty short level.

@Daniel36 Thanks for the update on what you're doing in the game. I never like slot machines or gambling in games. I never seem to do well. It's interesting what you shared about how the game feels rigged. Can't imagine the money and time to strike it rich there.

utopianmachine

Daniel36

@utopianmachine I doesn't feel rigged, it IS rigged.

You have to beat the dealer's score, yet practically every time, easily 7 times out of 10, when he scores really low, as in 2 or 3, you get a 1, out of 16.

That's not bad luck. The game is rigged badly. Which is in line with every slot machine ever made, mind you, but not a good way to spend your gold, I can tell you.

Battle Tower opened up. I am woefully unprepared. I could've beaten the first guy I encountered but I was lazily doing auto attacks. Second guy had a killer team. Not sure if I like this game mode.
