@Haru17 Well that mysterious voice in the backround of the trailer has already broken that convention
Look, Link still hasn't spoken yet. That and NPCs aren't voiced—it's only the possible quasi-Midna character who is—so you can stop with the "but Aonuma said." It's not going to make your point for you because, thus far, Link's still bland as he's ever been.
@PK_Boss11 Why are they running away? There is a meaning behind every action. Link running away from Hyrule is not courageous, he would be running away out of fear. Courage is facing your fears, not letting them over run you.
EDIT: Also, we should avoid politics on this site, they don't like conversations about that here. Felt like the whole Muslim thing was going to head down that route.
@DefHalan Ok on the politics thing. Btw, I'm not saying my game theory is the only thing that matters and everyone else is wrong, I just stated how Link never scared or anything, because courage doesn't eliminate fear, but it can overcome it if strong enough.
Shooting stars fall from the sky at night, shine like treasure in the Wind Waker, and disappear at dawn like they do in Terraria. I bet we can make sweet space swords outta 'dat stuff!
Edit: I don't want to hear your opinions about Muslims.
@Haru17 Yeah he is still kind of bland in a world that's not, but we do know there's a better chance then before. We also know he won't be an avatar that switches between guy and girl.

Yeah, Nintendo seems to be putting a lot of effort into the small details of the game. It's amazing.
Read on NeoGAF that the queue to test Zelda 2 days ago was filled after 2 hours, for the whole day. Yesterday, the queue was filled after 15 minutes, for the whole day. Today, the whole queue was apparently filled after 4 minutes.
@jariw
Yeah, its impressive how excited people are by the new Zelda, its nice to see it still atracts crowds.
Nintendo definitively didn't have the best show, but Zelda looks like its going to be the game of the show, or at least one of the contenders.
My theory is just something different to contrast what's out there now, but realistically, I hope this game is either a sequel or prequel to Wind Waker, although I could see retro and Skyward as well
@Bsham Do you not think so? Lots of people felt stupid after they said that about Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker, and were wrong.
The new Zelda game isn't doing anything that hasn't been done before so how can it change gaming. Wall climbing and open world has been around forever.
