In my opinion, it's the best water temple of any zelda game to date. The whole dungeon is a lot more streamlined than the water temple from OoT because of the Zora Mask. It's one of those critical thinking dungeons from Zelda, and the easy access and efficiency of the Zora mask makes it fun to play, rather than a chore.
(Spoilers?)
As for actual puzzles, Everything in this dungeon is important. The pistons are used to alter the path of the swirling water pool, make certain areas out of reach now available, flip switches, and they're platforms. The water pool only lets you go to certain rooms when the current is flowing a certain direction, so you need to use the pistons effectively. The ice arrows are also used effectively and in combination with the fire arrows to freeze and thaw ice to activate certain switches, raise/lower platforms, create platforms on the ice, etc etc.
Eh, I guess thats true it definitely is the coolest looking and the zora mask adds to the game play but Gyorg and the water flow switching ruined it for me but I love great bay coast/ pirate's hideout
Capcom at E3: Guys we're sorry about how we've been treating Mega Man so we're gonna make it up to you by releasing the Mega Man Cancelled Collection with all the titles we cancelled in the condition they we're in just before we pulled the plug. Now who wants Street Fighter X Monster Hunter?

Yeah, like I said before; Dungeon design? great! Dungeon boss? really really bad. As for the pirates' hideout, that was one of the most tedious parts of the game for me. I only had 3 bottles at the time, so having to go back so often was dreadfully tedious. I did have the stone mask, which made it easier, but that fortress was so confusing to navigate. It felt like this:
each door leads somewhere and there isn't a good map for where each room leads, so I mostly just bumbled around hoping I'd find the right rooms.

Yeah thats true but since I was really good at the Gerudo fortress it wasn't that bad and I always felt that the fights with the gerudo were pretty good and it wasn't as frustrating as the forsaken fortress from wind waker couldn't get farther than that place In the demo and haven't actually played or had the full game.

But at least you could get the stone mask. I eventually did that after I got caught too many times. It'd be nice to have sidequest items that aid in stealth portions in the new zelda. Because there will be stealth portions
If they but the hawk eye back It could be like my favorite moment from twilight princess where you storm the bulblin hideout in the desert province to get to the Arbiter's Grounds sniper style. Stealth could be done better than run ten steps out of the sight of useless AI.

"I'm curious, how do you feel about ALBW? That game had some of the worst puzzles i've seen in the franchise"
It doesn't happen that often, but I'll defend Albw. Take the ice-temple for example, with all the shifting blocks. As a whole that temple gave my brains quite a workout! My stance has changed a bit regarding Albw. Don't get me wrong, there are faaaar better Zelda's. But its a decent Zelda alright!
Oh, and I also like watertemples! The hardest one (from Oot) is also the best, and one of the best Zelda dungeons overall. It shows that I like some complexity in my Zelda, and not just running around beating enemies (like most modern games).
But I fear they just go for that: Beating enemies only. Aonuma mentioning Hyrule warriors (who doesn't have puzzles from the looks of it) gave it away! That would be typical Nintendo: Giving us a big overworld and freedom with one hand, taking puzzles with the other! Well, I wait and see. For now I just cling on the freedom and big overworld part. Gives a man hope!

Treehouse Live mentioned that there were puzzle elements in Hyrule Warriors, as well as secret areas. Also, the gameplay you saw on Treehouse Live, which was the Palace of Twilight, was a shrunk down version of that mission. What you saw wasn't even half of it.
I still say that puzzle solving will be in this next installment, why would it be otherwise? Aonuma mentioned in the Digital Event that he wanted the scope of puzzle solving to be beyond the dungeon.

"So with the new Wii U Zelda that we are working on, I work really closely with the director day to day on developing it and then we meet with Mr. Miyamoto once a month and present to him kind of where we are, and kind of what our next steps are. At that time we get his feedback, his thoughts on what we should do or what we should change. Just his feelings on how things are going. That process hasn’t changed."
On how long Zelda Wii U has been in development and why it’s taken so long to show…
"During the digital event, I talked about how this was open world and we really wanted to provide fans of the series a new way of playing and experiencing the Zelda universe. In order for us to get it to a place where we can show something to the public, it just took a lot of time for us to develop the game because there is so much content that needed to be in place first. "
"What you saw in the digital event wasn’t cinematic. It was actually in-game footage. So you saw, when I was sitting there with the mountains in the back. If Link gets on his horse, he can actually travel to those distant mountains."
On whether we’ll see the changes in A Link Between Worlds carry over (getting items in a different order, playing dungeons in a different order)…
"Yes (laughs)."
On the theme or prevalence of technology in Zelda Wii U…
Aonuma: "It’s not as though this environment is more high tech than past Zeldas. If you remember, we’ve had statues in the past that had beams that shoot out of their eyes. The hookshot is something that is actually really really high tech. We probably couldn’t even make one now if we wanted to. So I wouldn’t say this new Zelda is going to take place in the more distant-future, or even the near-future for that matter. But one thing we have to do as developers, you might be thinking ‘but then you are not rethinking the conventions of Zelda’, but I am rethinking the conventions, and as a part of that, we have to continue to have these items evolve and change their presentation and make sure that it’s still new experience."
The changes in ALBW were highly welcome. Glad to hear it!
“A thing may be too sad to be believed or too wicked to be believed or too good to be believed; but it cannot be too absurd to be believed in this planet of frogs and elephants, of crocodiles and cuttle-fish.”
― G.K. Chesterton
This is going to be an awesome game who knows what they'll do and as for keeping somethings from ALBW thats great but I hope you can still find some weapons or interesting thing in the dungeons.

Yes, it was cinematic. It might've been in-game footage, but that's a cinematic trailer. It might've been running on WiiU, but it's not gameplay.
IIRC, Eiji Aonuma said that the entire trailer was shot from in-game footage, by making clever use of the cameras.
"Many people from the media kept asking me if the footage from the new Zelda game for Wii U is just a promotional movie, but that really is actual gameplay on Wii U." - Eiji Aonuma
I always prefer the take that it's a real interpretation of the same story likes how most myths, legends and fairytales are retold and changed, well that I don't take much interest in the lore of Zelda to begin with.
