Also, please stop telling me how much my rupee is worth every single time I get one from a chest.
RYNO, YOU TOTES JUST GOT A BLUE RUPEE. IT'S WORTH FIVE WHOLE RUPEES! WOW.
I wouldn't mind that.
In all seriousness, maybe they should revert to the format used in LttP: just showing you the item you got, only using text for items, map, compass, but not small keys or rupees.
Formally called brewsky before becoming the lovable, adorable Yoshi.
Now playing:
Final Fantasy XIV (PC) | The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Switch) | Celeste (Switch)
QUESTION: Was the trailer "pre-rendered"? I have a feeling it wasn't, if I understand the word correctly. Do Nintendo even do those kind of trailers?
Nintendo borderline never does CG trailers as far as I'm aware. At the very least, what they've shown I'm certain is possible with Wii U graphics. I mean they spent the entire E3 showing gameplay demos, I don't think they'd lie about this.
I think the one reason I'm not super excited about this yet (beyond it being exactly what I thought it was and not showing a ton) is that the idea of making a Skyrim world with Zelda-level action sounds...very difficult. I mean the closest comparable example would be the Arkham games, and those games are seemingly intentionally tiny by modern open world standards (which to be fair, was to Arkham City's advantage)
I guess as long as there are dungeons, there are puzzles. But we only know for sure when we see more footage. As for Hyrule warriors: I don't expect much puzzle-wise, only a few very easy puzzles.
But back to Zelda U: Zelda was always that perfect combination of puzzles and combat. I do not want to see that change. But I'll wait and see.

Or maybe they could do what they did in Ocarina of Time where they told you what something was once, unt only vonce!
So I was thinking one of the cool new things they could add to this game would be an enemy handbook of some kind like imagine you encounter a new enemy and by killing it and writing down some observations into the book and like super paper mario you get a brief description of the enemy as well as finding out a weakness or just doing more damage to it in general.with this the work that designers put into the enemy isn't limited to a brief tattle from your all knowing partner.
Capcom at E3: Guys we're sorry about how we've been treating Mega Man so we're gonna make it up to you by releasing the Mega Man Cancelled Collection with all the titles we cancelled in the condition they we're in just before we pulled the plug. Now who wants Street Fighter X Monster Hunter?
I'm not going to argue that the series needs some change. That almost automatically comes with the hd set-up. However I just hope if there's multiplayer it doesn't interfere with the single player experience.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
Yeah, I'm a little worried about that, but not too much. I just hope they don't go the Dark Souls route. Last thing I need is multiplayer in my singleplayer mode.
Am I the only one thinking multiplayer would be cool? There was actually a mod that allowed you to play with up to 4 people in OOT (on a emulator online) and it works fine.

maybe they could take the Shadow Link battle from ALBW and turn it into a multiplayer mode with more than just two Links!
imagine a 4 Link battle mode where every player can use only a small selection of its equipments!

If anybody recalls Phantom Hour Glass had one. It could be quite fun with the right people. I don't mind a multiplayer mode separate from single player.

Apparently my copy of Dark Souls refuses to connect to the internet.
My goal is to beat and play as many of the series as possible between now and the release of Zelda Wii U.
Zelda Games I have beaten:
Legend of Zelda
Wind Waker...
I am almost done with TP. It has been a blast. Link to the Past is next, followed by Minish Cap, and Skyward Sword, then probably the Adventure of Link because it is available on the VC. What is the status of other Zelda games on VC?
I'm not too keen on multiplayer being put in single player franchises so I'm worried what it may be. I'd be happy with an actually useful companion being playable, an expansion of the Tingle tuner/bottle, or a separate multiplayer mode.
For those worried about the multi-player aspect, keep in mind that it's extremely likely that it'll be something similar to Child of Light, where one player controls Link while the 2nd player controls a helper character like Igniculous.
