@Haru17 I dunno, the Zora quest has been, so far, the only one where the special character of the day found me and recruited me, instead of me just walking into the correct town to talk with the relevant leader. And the trek to the Zoras Domain in the rain was rather extensive too, even if I used shortcuts..
With the Gerudo and Rito quests I just reached their town and did the things without any sort of prelude or reason beyond "I know it's there so I'll go there".
About the trick to the lost woods, the game made it super clear what it was about... I just failed to notice it quicker.
Just imagine the fact that there is a hardmode coming. Now that makes me VERY scared!!
The game will just open with a Game Over as soon as you start.

Oh, and I just trial and errored the Lost Woods, walking slowly enough in any direction that I could sprint away from the encroaching fog. What's the correct way of doing it?
I had been playing this game on Switch so much that I was genuinely surprised when I fired up my Wii U to play Mario Kart and remembered it had been released on the Wii U too. I then proceeded to see all my friends uploads on Miiverse. Total failure on the Switch to not have a hub to share with your friends. I also don't like that I can't message my friends on Switch. All I can see is their status and what they have been paying. I miss Wii U!
@Meowpheel Anyways, what was I doing wrong with the freakin' spoiler? xD
I even quoted/"edited" another post just to make sure I was doing it right....and it wouldn't work. >.>

@JohnBlackstar Time for chatting and communicating with friends on Switch will come soon, don't worry buddy!
So: i finally managed to finish exploring East Necluda. Beat another Hynox, saved teleport to 2 Shrines that i will do next time i'll open the system (on top of Lanaryu Mountain? Is that the english name for East Necluda big mountain? and the three cedar trees quest). The first Shrine that i have to do means that i did the dragon quest, and it was challenging but still fantastic to do gameplay-wise. Having to use the glider to follow him around the mountain and shoot at the big eyes while using it, it was awesome! After clearing the top of the mountain i bought the 6th Hearth and did all the surroundings where i get a lot of Korok Seeds. Should be at 70 total now or near it. To do all the mountain part i had to use every meal for cold that i cooked before. Cooking here is really important! As i said next time i'll open the system i'll do this 2 Shrines, return to Impa because i collected the first memory (it's the 15th on the list, the awakening of Ganon) and after that i'll decide after i see what Impa will give me. That's really addicting!
50 hours in and I'm still not 100% comfortable with the controls. Quite often I'm pressing wrong buttons - not sure if it's the button layout or just me being a dope (but I can't recall having this trouble with other games). Anyone else having the same problem?
@Monkey_Balls If the game breaking thing you're talking about is reflecting the lasers using your shield, it's meant to be in the game. I have the official guide and it teaches you in there to use it in battle .
@MrMeow13 No, I wasn't referring to that (the game tells you about that technique). I was talking about a glitch which can significantly change a player's approach to the game. It's not game-breaking as such, but when using it certain (previously required) tasks and items become non-essential. I'm sure speedrunners will love it but I hope it gets patched as it's too easy to use (I found it by accident). Now, I don't need certain items; now, I don't need to do such-and-such; now, what should be an obstacle isn't one, etc. Actually, it could be considered as game-breaking I suppose (depending on people's definition of the term). I try to not use it (though often it's tempting to), and sometimes I do it without thinking.

I'm not having any kind of problems about the controls. I found them really good
@Monkey_Balls I no longer have any trouble with the controls, but they were overwhelming at the beginning.
I wonder if it's actually an exploit or if it was placed on purpose. I wouldn't be surprised if it was done to reward those who have played the game extensively. It seems to natural and easy to do..

Yep. I think there's like 1 too many thing to remember for my brain's memory cache or however it works. I kept forgetting how 1 thing worked and had to stop a second to get it right. For me it was how to cycle through the runes for some reason. Kept doing that wrong in split second decisions.
@Meowpheel lol thanks, I brute-forced my way through the Lost Woods, that also worked though.
@Monkey_Balls Try playing Horizon and Zelda at the same time, it's a control nightmare. Circle (right) is roll in Horizon, but the A button (right) is interact in Zelda. Interact in Horizon is triangle (up), but that's jumping in Zelda. Jumping in Horizon is X (down), but it's sprint in Zelda. Sprinting in Horizon is done by pressing the left control stick, but that's crouch in Zelda. Square (left) is actually crouch in Horizon, but that button is attack in Zelda. Attacking in Horizon is done through the right shoulder button and trigger, but that's drawing your bow in Zelda. Drawing your bow in Horizon is the left trigger...
So yeah, I'm often crouching when I need to run, I attack when I need to draw my bow or I jump when I'm trying to talk so someone.
