Topic: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge

This is the only game in the Indie World that remotely interested me. I remember playing a Turtles in Time arcade machine a ton in a locally owned restaurant in my area, so I might just check this out.

@NintendoByNature what comes on a giardeniera? I posted that question while I'm at work (employee of the month right here) and I've made myself hungry.

@Losermagnet it's basically pickled peppers and veggies in olive oil. Link below for reference. When its baked on a pizza, muah. Making my mouth water! It also goes on Italian beef sandwiches, sub sandwiches, sausage sandwiches etc.

And it occurs to me that even though I said Raph was my favorite I think the Psi (Sai?Psy? Sigh? How is that spelled?) is lamest weapon. I'd put Mikey's sausage link nunchuks from the second movie over Raph's Psi's.

@Losermagnet all supermarkets here have it available, but its regional so it may be hard for you to locate, depending on where you live. There's hot and mild. I usually go with the hot but it's never unbearable. It's not ghost pepper hot or anything like that.

I dk.....I'd take Raphs sai over mikeys nun chucks any day, for me at least. Ones with brute force and the other requires finesse which I don't have 🤣

I think i'd have to use the bo staff. I'd cut/stab/chuk myself otherwise.

@NintendoByNature I believe it is regional. I can't not find them at all here where I live so I have my brother ship me some from Chicago.

@Tasuki yea for sure. Unless you have a local Italian deli, you won't find it outside of the Chicago land area.

It’s a great question @Losermagnet , I got Mikey cause nunchucks rule and he’s a party dude, Shredder is a Darth Vader/Destro/Ric Flair level cool villain in my book, and more pizza would be my favorite pizza topping. I’m down for some online Foot smashing when the time comes.

Probably the only game I'm interested in out of that showcase direct thingy. I grew up with the arcade games (well, the NES and SNES versions anyways, lol) and played them constantly. Had a cousin with the NES that had that game, and on SNES I would rent those games all the time.
...Remember the rental era? lol

@Joeynator3000 Rental stores were how I played Turtles in Time and Tournament Fighter. I miss them actually. By today's standards they aren't convenient, but at the time it let me have access to so many more games and movies.

Now that I think about it, Smash Ultimate's FS meter kinda reminds me of that game. You build up a meter and then unleash a special unique attack. xD

I think I always played Mikey, but there was that...weird bat guy that I played as well. Forget his name...I barely remember any of the TMNT characters in general. I just know the turtles themselves, and Shredder. lol

@Joeynator3000 I want to say Wingnut was his name. It's hard to keep track of all the characters. The 80s cartoon alone had a ton. Then you have the comics, movies, reboots, etc.. I had a toy of a Triceraton for years before I knew anything about them.

Yeah I only knew about the cartoons and and some of the games. xD

@NintendoByNature Yep. I order alot of food from Chicago lol, beef sandwich kits, Pizza, Italian sausage. That is probably what I miss the most.

Ah good old turtle beat em ups! Me and a bud of mine used to stay up all night playing TMNT 2! Then on my birthday one year i got TMNT 3 and played that sucker non stop! You can probably imagine how blown my mind was when i finally got to try turtles in time! It was the best time to be a turtles fan!

Can somebody invent a time machine already? Use a Delorian a phone booth or whatever just get me outta this crappy era and back to when life was good.
