We better stop talking about Pikmin 4 though, there might still be someone on this site who insta bans people for doing this. They basically turned from a Pikmin Jedi to a Pikmin Inquisitor. It’s dangerous.

@bimmy-lee June 15th is what some other online outlets are saying. If thats true then it means those who order physical are gonna have to wait.

So if you buy a physical copy, do you have to wait until it arrives or do some of the versions provide a dl code? Do they ship the physical early so you can play on release date? Never bought from lrg before.

@JesseA nah, unfortunately you'll have to wait like 4 to 6 months after orders are closed. That's the down fall, but good things come to those who wait.

I just looked at the fine print, it actually says 8-9 months after pre-order closes. That's ridiculous. People might not even be playing it anymore at that point. Digital purchase for me then.

@JesseA I get it. It's one of my most anticipated games of the year but I'm willing to wait. I've been wanting a physical turtles game for such a long time, I'm not too worried about it.

Have a question about the coop multiplayer. I know it has 6 players online but apparently it can have 6 players offline too. Does the Switch allow for 6 players local? I always assumed it could only allow up to 4 players.

Physical pre-orders have opened today from at least two places, Signature Edition Games, and Limited Run Games.

Signature Edition games are promising that shipping will commence July 29th.
Limited Run Games are cautioning that shipping dates may be 4-5 months, or 8-9 months depending on the edition you buy.

Both sites will ship internationally; Signature Edition Games is UK based and Limited Run Games is US based.

@FragRed There was a forum post earlier about an issue connecting Joy-Cons mentioning 8-player Bomberman, so seems that it is possible. It did suggest that anything over 4-player had to use split joy-cons rather than a pair though.

Just pre-ordered mine. Just the standard though.

Edit: does anyone know if there's cross play?

@dmcc0 Thanks for that, I did wonder about the JoyCons but I don’t think I know anyone who enjoys using them as separate controllers. They’re too small.

Since this is going to gamepass I can play it there and hope Best Buy gets the physical eventually.

I just saw this game on the Japanese eshop in the coming soon category today. I put it on the wish list for later. I have a little over a 100 yen saved up right now~ 🥰🤣

I can't decide if I should buy the digital or preorder the physical edition. On one hand I could be playing this game next week, but on the other I do really like the idea that months from now (around Christmas maybe) I get this game in the mail (after forgetting that I paid for it) and I get a coupon for a free pan pizza.
