@Oswinner I wouldn't call Timesplitters a spiritual successor to Perfect Dark, they are both first person shooter but the settings are way different.

Yeah, wasn’t too sure. A new super agent spy game akin to Perfect Dark/Goldeneye would be awesome.

My dream game?

MARIO KART ULTIMATE

It’s time we had all the tracks from the franchise in one big ass game. All updated to today’s visuals/mechanics.

SNES League (20 tracks, 4 cups)
N64 League (16 tracks, 4 cups)
GBA League (20 tracks, *4 cups)
GCN League (16 tracks, 4 cups)
DS League (16 tracks, 4 cups)
Wii League (16 tracks, 4 cups)
3DS League (16 tracks, 4 cups)
WiiU League (16 tracks, 4 cups)
Deluxe League (16 tracks, **4 cups)
Switch League (16 tracks, ***4 cups)
*Was 5 cups in Super Circuit, this will change to 4 cups to keep the same amount of cups in each league)
**Includes the 9 new DLC tracks from MK8eluxe and 7 other new tracks
***16 brand new tracks.

168 tracks in total. 10 different leagues. 40 different cups. There will also be an option to play the All-Cup Tour for each league, which tops it up to 50 cups.

Difficulty Modes
50cc, 100cc, 150cc, 200cc all available to play from the beginning and online matchplay/leaderboards seperate for each class. You choose which class you want to race in and you’ll race in that class against other like-minded people.

Characters
So far there have been 58 different characters in the Mario Kart franchise. A few of them will be blended together as different skins for just one character. However, there will still be new characters making a total of 60 characters playable.

Double Dash Mode
There will be a double dash mode where you can partner up with your characters driving buddy. Double item pickup is only available in this mode. There will also be a double dash online match maker/leaderboard. When partnered up with a friend you will use a team name and that will save for your team. 12 teams allowed to race just like in a singles race.

Special Weapons
Each character has a special weapon they can use. Giant Banana for DK, Giant Shell for Bowser etc.

Items
All items that have ever been in Mario Kart can be selected in offline races. You’ll be able to select whatever items you want to use, how frequently they appear and in what position they appear in. Want a 100% chance of Lightning in first place? That can be selected. Want to get rid of blue shells altogether? Select zero percent in all positions. How about complete random chance? Pick 10 weapons for each position and have them all at 10% chance of being drawn. You’ll be able to save your item configurations for future use. There will be a preset configuration for online ranked races which will be the usual default configuration for the game.

-Working Title: Super Mario Ages
-The gist: While the celebrations for mario's 35th are almost over, here's an idea for a mario game that picks and chooses different elements from past games and makes something new using them like sonic generations! It's Mario's 35th birthday and he's in his attic reminiscing with Luigi when he finds a strange device called the Virtual Console. Luigi drops it and that sucks mario and luigi into the worlds of classic mario games starting in Super mario bros (NES) and ending in a dimension where every forgotten enemy from the past games are back and out for revenge. The final boss is Wart the Toad.

Additional Info
-It's a 3D game with 2D segments
-Each game world only has a few levels from each game but remixed
-There are loads of remixes of classic tracks and has a sounds mode where you can listen to the soundtrack
-Luigi is playable from the start

-Working title: Mario Kart World
-The gist: Y'know forza horizon? That but mario kart. A big open world (obviously not as big as forza's world because that would chug the frame rate). Each region is an expanded version of a track (e.g toad's turnpike as a city, delfino square is just delfino plaza with a road system). There are quests you can find around the map like a toad farmer in moo moo meadows having a mole problem and the moles challenge you to a race.
-Additional info: The normal racing is in the game too, the open world is just like a story mode like diddy kong racing.
-You can get little upgrades to your kart using coins you get from finishing quests in the open world.
-You unlock characters by racing them in the open world
-Instead of having metal mario/tanooki mario/pink gold peach as separate character slots, you can buy extra costumes with the aforementioned coins.

And a box for this!

I'm less certain this will happen on the Switch, but another game I want to see is an Animal Crossing spinoff that plays more like a tycoon game. I want to like Animal Crossing, but I have no interest in the random chore-like tasks and collection. I like building up an area, but something that's a little more exciting like a modern city or an amusement park. Maybe it could star Tom Nook?

Working Title: Mario Kart: The Equalizer!!

The Gist: When my kids were younger, they would complain because I would win a lot of the races. So in order to make it more fun for them, they would make me hold the controller different ways to make it more difficult for me to win. Such as holding the controller upside down, or backwards. Or make it so I wasn't allowed to use any special items.

I thought this would be a great addition to the game. So . . . if one person was deemed "too good", then you could enable "The Equalizer Mode" on them so that while they were racing . . . at random intervals . . . their controller inputs would switch. So that they would have to figure out what the new settings were and then adapt in order to keep racing. Like swapping left for right. Or the up button is to turn right and the R button is to turn left. Or swapping their gas / brake or drift buttons. Also, every so often, their special weapons would either be disabled or disappear.

Another mode would be a "Randomizer for the course" in which the entire course is randomly generated as you play. So this would reduce the chance for someone that is really familiar with a course to have a big advantage over someone that does not play that much.

A variation of the "Randomizer" version could be a Rally version where you have little signs telling you what type of turn (and which way) the next turn will be. So, basically bring Rally Racing to Mario Kart.

Additional Info:

NOTE:
@Rambler — I totally love the idea of "Mario Kart: Maker!!", in designing your own courses.

@Oswinner — I totally agree. "Mario Kart: Ultimate!!" with all the tracks. We have Mario Kart for the GC, Wii, Wii U and Switch. As well as for the SNES with Switch Online. One thing my wife mentioned is that she wished there were new tracks for the Switch as we've already been racing these tracks already on the Wii U.

Yes! That is brilliant!
Groose fits the role alarmingly well.

Red Dwarf - Point Click Adventure
Every decision you make changes the story.

You are Dave Lister. You start off on Red Dwarf repairing Chicken Soup machines. All the crew are alive at the start. You make friendships/fueds with Rimmer, Kochanski/Peterson etc. The crew then get wiped out by a radiation leak as you have to go in to stasis for punishment for smuggling a cat on board. Rimmer comes back as a hologram and your pet cat evolves into human form. Can you bring Kochanski back to life? Do you ever get to meet Kryten and teach him how to lie? Do you see future echos or despair squids? Loads of smegging jokes in the game too.

However, the story can branch in many directions. What if you decide to give your cat up at the start of the game? You won’t go into stasis, maybe the drive plate gets fixed and the crew lives on? The aim is to get back to earth and start a family with Kochanski, or you could just aim to be the greatest space bum in the Galaxy fighting off simulants and annoying Arnold Rimmer at every turn.

Working Title: Pirate
The gist: Hear me out. A story based horror game about a child who's dad has got them a pirated game. You play as the child who is playing the game. At first the game is normal but the longer you go, the more the anti piracy software kicks in. It starts at just the game running at a way lower framerate but it soon gets more and more twisted and disturbing. There are breaks in between the game sessions to show story cutscenes. The main inspiration for this was duck season vr if you're heard of that. I know this sounds like a creepypasta game. Yeah that was the end of the sentence.
