Banjo totally overshadowed the Dragon quest guy (at least in the west, may be reverse in Japan), though I must say the Dragon quest guy (was he just called Hero?) looks pretty cool too!

For me I was about equal in hype for both reveals. Banjo-Kazooie fulfilled so many of my closely-held fantasies and childhood dreams. But DQ Hero came out of nowhere and the fact that it's not just one character but four is incredible. It seems like they chose one from each "era" of the series: 3 from the Loto trilogy, 4 (Solo) from the 4-5-6 trilogy, 8 from the PS1/PS2 era, and then XI for the modern era. I'm curious to know if all the spells are different depending on the character or if it's just a reskin. Either away, I'm so there for this.

The Mii costumes are from the same company as the character so I think with DQ Hero we will get:

• Chocobo Hat
• Geno outfit (if not already ingame, I don't remember)
• A few outfits for DQ Hero characters that aren't playable (e.g. 1, 2 and 7)

Then with Banjo:

• Gruntilda outfit
• Conker outfit
• Minecraft Creeper outfit
• Steve outfit
• A few pirate outfits inspired by Sea of Thieves

Rayman and Dixie Kong.

Rex and Pyra, Mr. Sandman(Punch Out), Spyro and Crash Bandicoot would be cool too. Really hope there's a 2nd fighter pass.

I don't know why, but I really can't activate the Starfox conversations, palutena's guidance or the Snake codecs. In past games I didn't have any trouble, but here you have to be soooo fast. Its impossible for me, but luckily there's still youtube!

Also, they should ad all the character introduction movies in one of the updates. Those are awesome!

@Henmii Dang, I was hoping that they were unlockables but I guess this confirms that they are M.I.A..

I'd honestly be surprised if one of the last two DLC characters isn't another Bandai Namco rep.

They actually helped develop the game, yet currently only have one rep (Pac-Man), compared to the three that Capcom (Mega Man, Ryu, Ken), Konami (Snake, Simon, Richter), and SEGA (Sonic, Bayonetta, technically Joker) have, or the two that SE (Cloud, Hero) has. While it's true that Microsoft only has one as well (Banjo), I think that's a special case due to Rare's history with Nintendo, and we won't see any more MS/Rare fighters.
