@MsJubilee Both Melee and Brawl remixed their main themes for every mode? And if you're talking about stage music, this game has basically every remix and song from previous games, in addition to about as many new remixes as possible. Plus, you said "The ones that aren't remixes are the same" which is... true by definition? I don't understand what your issue is.
A gaggle of geese
A herd of cows
A flock of birds
A litter of kittens
A cluster* of Yoshis
Sheesh, im noticing a pattern. All the three star spirits include battles thati can't even come close to winning. The 7 yoshis on an easy launch level..owwww..... Another i have to skip
@EvilLucario there’s a bit of the main theme at the start of the tune. It’s the same part of the main theme that is usually remixed into any song related to the subspace emissary.
@ReaderRagfish Well, Swordfighter is essentially any other Fire Emblem character except Ike or Robin. Shame is only given when one has Kirby as their main.

@subpopz my friend and I have been trading off taking on the World of Light mode today. We barely made it past the stages you mentioned through kiting the AI or dumb luck, but if you're still having trouble with high wind stages there's a wind immunity sticker somewhere on the map. Some fights you can just walk away from and come back to when you have the right stickers/level. Its a choose your own adventure RPG, just go with the path of least resistance and you'll get through em all eventually.
Not sure if it's been said, but I've been able to unlock every character in smash do far by jumping into the WOL overworld, leaving and restarting the game after every new challenger.
World of Light reminds me of Soul Caliber 2's story mode. A more fleshed out world map, more overall variety...none of those paragraphs of storytelling that I never had the patience to bother reading. 😂 Definitely an improvement to that formula that I am very much enjoying.

So looking back at World of Light as of now since I'm not finished with it yet (at the final stretch though!): Ultimate easily has the best single-player of all of the Smash games. It even tops Adventure Mode from Melee! Subspace was plagued with boring platforming that was really dumbed down so characters like Ganondorf could have a fighting chance at stages (which Adventure Mode also struggled with but it was much shorter and had better Nintendo themes so it wasn't as noticeable), so World of Light cutting that out completely to focus solely on the thing that makes Smash good - the fighting - is something I'm all for.
Classic Mode is also the best of all the games. Each round is extremely short, yet varied in theming. I love how each character's route has something specific to that character that makes sense with their origins.
If it meant axing Home-Run Contest, Break the Targets, Master/Crazy Orders, and Trophies for this, that's perfectly fine by me. I am extremely pleased with this game's single-player.
Unfortunately I think World of Light will just be a one-and-done deal for me. It's one of those games where it's great for the first romp, but doesn't provide as much replay value. That said, if I want to go do single-player stuff, I'd just replay Classic Mode.
Metroid, Xenoblade, EarthBound shill
I run a YouTube/Twitch channel for fun. Check me out if you want to!
Please let me know before you send me a FC request, thanks.
@EvilLucario I'm just glad they didn't cut ALL platforming segments. Bringing back Race to the Finish in Classic mode was unexpected but a welcome surprise. Plus, sorting it by weight class means the platforming is usually not too dumbed down.
