Topic: Kirby and the Forgotten Land

I think the music was my favorite part of that game...and I don't even care for piano tunes. lol

But I saw some clips from the NA version, and there he had an american accent. That didn't feel quite as storytime-like for some reason.

Gonna stay away from this forum until I get the game myself but, before I head off, I just wanted to say how much I love the main theme of Forgotten Land. There's something so whismical yet extremely triumphant about it, perfectly fitting for the beginning of a new Kirby era. Just listening to it makes me extremely happy that Kirby has come this far

Super excited to hit this one hard after working! Gonna try to stay away from spoilers as much as possible, but I mean, it's Kirby.

I have to watch students take tests for half my day. This is going to be a nightmare of a wait. 3:30, where are you!?

Is it weird that I kind of expected there to be a day one patch and am surprised there hasn’t been one?

Anyway, picking up my copy this afternoon to play with my wife this evening. Pretty excited!

Just don't think too much about being too easy.
You should be granted for playing easy games rather than too hard to play games that just put you in frustration.
Kirby games itself maybe not as easy as you think for certain level.

@NinChocolate it is. Received mine today and have been watching the kids play, music is a joy too.

EVERY TIME I pre-order a game from Target, it ends up getting delayed and arriving a few days later. My delivery is now scheduled for Sunday. Never preordering a game from Target again.

At least I have AM2R to finish in the meantime.

@StarPoint In general, I've had enough issues with buying games from Target to be done with them. My copy of Rayman Legends on Switch that I bought online has some weird gunk on the side, I had a similar scenario with Paper Mario, and the copy I bought of Forgotten Land today in-person has a damaged box (there's a tear on the spine in both the plastic cover and the actual game art).

@PikaPhantom Yeah I had ordered Mario Party Superstars from them before and it ended up arriving almost a week late I think. I thought maybe it was just a fluke, but this is the last straw for me. Sticking to Walmart and Best Buy from now on.

Played through the first world today.

Looks absolutely gorgeous (I enjoy the ruined civilization vibe too, kinda reminds me of Planet Robobot a bit with the more technological environments), car Kirby is fun as heck, I love pulling off the quick time dodge against bosses, and I like that it opens with a song (after the tutorial area).

Finished the final boss, all I can say right now...is that I now know where this takes place.

How annoying that the demo data does not carry over to the full version. If I'd known this, I'd have just avoided the demo altogether.

@Tendo64 I thought the same thing but as the demo is realllly short doesn't really bother me

@NinChocolate Without saying much about the final boss itself, it kinda reminds me of Calyrex. lol
