Really enjoyed the demo! Lots of references to Kirby Super Star, which I loved as a kid (or maybe these elements are part of all Kirby games and I have been missing out).

I was surprised with the linearity, from the trailers I thought it would play out like Super Mario Odyssey with free camera controls. Still fun, though. The only part that felt odd was the soundtrack: it sounds a lot like Super Mario Odyssey to me, without its own identity.

Decided to play the demo, only thing that bugs me (hopefully this isn't in the full version) is that when you inhale an enemy with a copy ability, you automatically swallow it. Sometimes I prefer to just use that like a normal enemy instead. But yeah...other than that, can't wait. lol

Also, that intro cutscene...I'm wondering if Nightmare will be in this game or not. Those portals...>.>

@Joeynator3000 There is an option to turn off auto-swallow in the control settings.

I'll look for it next time, might try going through the demo with that "hard mode" but at the same time...eh. lol

Played through the demo with the Mrs (who I managed to convert with the Wii and last Switch Kirby games) and we loved it. Doesn’t feel as polished as the 2D outings, but there’s a level of creativity that makes it feel fresh and exciting compared to Kirby’s previous game on the Switch, which felt more like a re-run of Dreamland.

Well, decided I am going to hold off on this one. As much as I enjoyed the demo and want to play it, with the MK8 DLC coming out and then Tiny Tina's on the same day my gaming plate will be full for awhile. Besides maybe when I do get to it, it will be a bit cheaper or on sale.

The plot-twist is this, Kirby was actually sucked into a parallel universe where everyone is furry and primitive.

The final boss is parallel Beast/Wild Kirby or whatever. lol

Am I the only one slightly disapointed with the new Kirby game graphics? I tried the demo yesterday and it looks bad, low res and lots of jaggies. I played Luigi Mansion 3 and Mario Odyssey a while back and I don't remember them looking so bad. Also 30fps and not 60fps like Mario, big letdown.

@NinChocolate I might not be getting the game day one, but something about me saying, just X amount of sleeps makes me feel better.

@Dany4k I mean yeah, there kirby graphics, I don't normally expect these crazy looking graphics from kirby games, and for a kirby game this looks really good in my opinion.
