Maybe I’m just being stupid sensitive. But my god I don’t think this is funny, if your going to do this at least wait a week, but on the same day? Like I said maybe I’m just being a big sensitive baby, and this is just a Joke, and not to be taken to heart, but if not, that messed up. Also of Course not everyone is from the U.K, so it might not really matter to someone else, I just think posting this on the same day is a little insensitive.

Been playing since around midnight. Thought I'd start with sp like always, but I just... jumped right into turf wars, and have been stuck there for hours.

I win most of my matches on other maps, but that museum level is rough. I haven't won a single match there yet.

@Snatcher lol Splatoon 3 is already full of player messages about the queen. 'The queen died so Splatoon could live,' and such silliness.

Has anyone managed to find Squid Beatz? I can't find it, it seems like they didn't include it. I am slightly disappointed

I've had a quick go this morning before work so I can't really make a full opinion of the game yet but so far so good. It does seem odd the small fry is just single player as something added to the mix of the multi player could fix alot of the it's just the same game complaints.

So just wondering does splatoon 3 feel enough like a brand new entry or is it more like glorified DLC? I'm definitely getting this at some point but i don't know if i wanna jump on it right away. I loved the previous two but honestly I'm more into it for the single player. At my age finding someone to play with online is tricky. Not alot of 43 year olds playing splatoon I'd gather. Oh and i still need to finish splatoon 2's Octo expansion. I think I'll get back on that while I'm trying to make my mind up about splatoon 3.

Anyway opinions?

@Truegamer79 From what I played, it feels like splatoon 2, but upgraded, definitely to much in the game for it to be dlc tho.

@Truegamer79 I think even casual users will find a good amount of new things to do, such as Tableturf, new Salmon Run events, and reworked ranked battles. Along with this is a ton of new weapons, customization, and maps. Plus, with the promise of two years of prolonged support, there's a lot to look forward to in the future. The changes may not seem game-changing to a casual audience at first but there's enough here to make a game that feels better overall than the first two.

anyone know how the hell ink vac works? i hold ZR and it takes forever just to finally shoot the ink. i get killed nearly everytime. this special sucks. literally

@SoManyHaveDied You're supposed to use it to protect you and your teammates from incoming enemy fire, the blast at the end is just so it provides a bit of offensive presence from people trying to take advantage of the window where the special winds down

@SoManyHaveDied @Fizza Good point about the ink vac being defensive. It kind of feels like it leans toward being a support weapon. Which is how the Tri-Stringer seems, too. To me, they seem deliberately designed to work best when you're fighting with teammates, for more cooperative play, and they aren't great weapons when you're alone. Or, maybe I haven't learned these weapons well yet. Or, maybe I've made a very basic point all experienced Splatoon players already recognize.
