@Vector OHH, because we got that gear already!😁 I posted when the north american grand fest article went live around midnight last night (eastern time). And someone else posted about the salmon run article giving out the new Heavy Duty Slopsuit.
"do they have to be returned" - Nope!🌈😁 All gear that's given from a switch news article is stuff you keep. The only thing that gets returned is the splatfest Tshirt that your given after you pick your team. That splatfest T will just disappear from your inventory when splatfest ends.(just like it did in Splatoon 2)
So far, I think I like the Spikes tiara-looking head gear is my favorite piece of the grand fest gear.

I noticed a video in my recommends, and thought it made sense. Talking about how poeple have seen people named things like "boykisser" put up "no religion" posts. If we are going to make a big deal about saying Harris 2024 or Jesus Loves You! in game, then why shouldn't that extend to I'm Gay! and the like? Politics and religion are equally out of place as sexualtiy and identity, IMO... What do yall think?

I only got one color chip badge and lost interest trying to get others. I did however have a good time getting the low hack achievement badge with Eight's pallet. If you get a few Splash Radius chips, all explosions get bigger, your splashdown gets big and takes out more enemies, AND when the portals explode, those portal explosions get INSANELY big🤣, and take out other portals on the map with a single stroke. It's so sick and OP. With some special-earning chips, you can end up spamming your splashdown.
I think the best low hack tip I got may have been from Budda or Croctopus. You only need one extra life hack, because if you die, you can usually buy another life at a vending floor as needed.

Probably the most OP ones besides eight's palate are Callie's and DJ Octavio's
you fill up on attack power and speed with Callie's and you become a steam roller
you fill up on fire rate, charge speed, and homing shots with DJO's palate and you have got a laser gun my friend

@Vector Nintendolife forum is kind of bare bones by choice, or out of simplicity. That's why there are no Likes in the forum. I think site founder antdickens also wanted to aviod the addictive trappings of Likes from social media.
For some common emoticons, the site automatically makes the text emote into an emoticon. Like, : and D together will make a smiley face . Although, X and D don't automatically convert to 😆. XD
If you're on PC, windows button + period button will pull up an emoticon list.
If you're on an android phone or tablet, you can use the emoticons from your keyboard.
I don't know the status for Apple.
If you do see someone post something, and you want to know how they did it, you can hit the Quote button on their post, and it will show the text/code they used.
@Vector Yeah! That's what I was doing for a while, and failing.🤣🤣 I was trying to use the maximum hack number for the low hack achievement, and get by with fewer color chips. I was like, "how are people beating the tower with low hacks!?!?". At some point I started thinking that maybe getting more chips was the key to getting strong enough to beat it. So kept trying to figure out which hacks I could do without. And I started asking in here what people did. I was getting close, but I don't know if I could have figured it out on my own. I certainly hadn't realized I could get away with just one extra life hack (because you can buy extra lives at vending floors) - that was a huge blind spot on my part.😆
@Croctopus For low hacks, you only used two extra life hacks? Wowww. I may have to try something similar to your strategy, like depending on chips to help mobility. I just relied on one broken armor speed hack to avoid dying.
I played through the tower for fun over the weekend. It's still fun and I still love the music.
