I played a lot last night, almost three and a half hours until before 11:30, and not played a single match against Team Beach. It was against Theme Park the entire time. Either Theme Park is overwhelmingly popular, Beach is surprisingly unpopular, or the matching is really screwy. My matches have usually been somewhat close. The quality of both my teammates and opponents can be questionable. I've yet to have a mirror match.
Seeing yellow and light blue ink mixed together reminds me of SpongeBob. I guess Team Beach's purplish pink is close enough to be like Patrick's.
Funny, Im Team Beach and havent had a single match against you Palace folks!
I'm on Team Theme Park. In Open/Pro I mostly played against Team Beach and had more mirror matches than matches against Team Palace. Vast majority of Tricolor matches have been mirror matches.
So I figure that popularity is Theme Park > Beach > Palace with a large gap between Beach and Palace (maybe also between Theme Park and Beach).
Wrapped up my Splatfest session with about 330K Clout overall for Team Palace. I managed to snag a bunch of 10x's and even a 100x once again (given how I just managed to get another one for the first time in a year last fest, there's probably a bus metaphor in here somewhere XD) and had a pretty grand old time overall. I don't play Splatoon 3 nearly as much as I did in the past (still love the game, its more just a bi-product of me playing a variety of different games instead) but I'll always hop on for a Splatfest and SummerFest especially was no exception. Excited to see the results tomorrow morning!

Holy crap! ______ won!?? On clout alone? Did I see that right? I picked beach, but the early and halfway splatfest updates made me think beach would loose. And wow, Theme Park destroyed with the vote count. I don't recall one team getting that high of a voter percentage. Amazing.😆
Wow, this was the first splatfest that I didn't reach ruler... just couldn't really get into it this time i guess. Splatfests have gotten a lot less exiting for me lately, but we're pretty close to the end of them, so maybe the final fest will make me like them again. Dunno. I also haven't been feeling too great lately, so maybe that's why I didn't care too much about this one. I also wasn't a big fan of the theme. Whatever though, hopefully I prefer the next Splatfest.
Bambrella buff, lets go!!! If this is the last patch, then they really should've done something about range blaster but oh well. Pleasantly surprised, but that's only because my expectations were practically non-existent.
its barely been a day or two since SummerFest ended and we already have the next Splatfest announced XD
The next one will be happening around mid-August and will be based around what kind of starch food you prefer: bread, rice or pasta.
Although I do enjoy my bread and rice every so often, this one's an easy choice for me personally 🍝
Glad to see I was wrong and that FinalFest isn't in late August, having an extra Splatfest is a very nice surprise. As for the Splatfest theme, I really like all 3 options.
I mean... I already eat rice daily, so... not a very hard choice for me!!! Still, glad my choice lines up with the best idol, aka Frye! (my Big Man phase is officially over) Wasn't expecting another splatfest and I think a battle of the carbs is a pretty cool idea!
ohhh, this is a tough one. I LOVE rice, but are we having anything with this stuff? If not, then Pasta has more variety, inherently... So I'll have to choose between those two. Sorry, bread.
