Do I end up getting less Prlz if I keep going in with Agent 4's palette (the one I used to beat the game with)? Because I'm more experienced with Shooters and I plan to buy all the "Player Hacks".
Other than maybe a bonus for earning the 3 keys for your palette, I don't think you earn less if you play with a weapon you already beat the tower with. But there are varying factors that determine how many prlz you earn, like the level difficulties you chose, or whether you're spending membucks in the vending machines - membucks are converted to prlz after your tower run.
There are other ways boost your prlz earnings. The membucks hack will boost your earnings, which means more prlz in the end. Youtuber Vasko Games might have the best video on the subject I've seen? I think I mainly focused on avoiding easy levels, unless that easy level has the chip I need. One notable thing I learned about in Vasko's video was tone chain bonus, you earn like +100 membucks for every time you add a chip the same color as the previous chip. I struggled to get more than three in a row, but getting 2-3 in a row several times in a tower run will add up for more membucks in the end when they get converted to prlz.
@Grumblevolcano Yeah, I've already been enjoying Inkoplis Square since they're already playing Splatfest background music that sounds remixed to me. This might be the hub I will keep for this week and Splatfest. We'll see.
Booyah! Landed me a low-hacks infinity badge with three hacks (18 chips):
Hacks used: One extra life, one broken armor swim speed, one attack damage.
My chip loadout was very mid. I wasn't sure I was going to pull it off, but I eeked by.
I had seen the badge in-game, but didn't really know how it was attained until yesterday (or I'd heard it before and forgot.)
EDIT: Since I pulled that off, I've tried to do it again three times, and failed. So, I'm much more grateful now for the fact that I already got the achievement. Good luck!
Oh, NO!!! I WAS SO CLOSE!!! I was in the final boss with Eight's palette, and I lost all my lives on the last phase! This was the second time I made it to the 30th floor with that palette... the way that palette's designed makes the journey so much more difficult compared to every other palette. If I have too many hacks, I can only have six color chips at most. Heck, with Eight's palette, I can't even continue from where I lost my last life! But I can skip floors with membucks, at least. I was literally crying when I got game over'd by the last boss... just brutal!

People often complain about Japan getting the best Splatfest themes, but while you guys are rocking out your socks out in an epic battle of the bands, we get… salted vs. consommé vs. seaweed flavoured crisps.
@WoomyNNYes For me, it's got to be colour-chip bias. I beat octo-shot low hacks first try using two hacks for bias, one for damage and an extra life (and a whole lot of luck). I mainly focused on getting explosion damage up so I could easily beat any portal level. Getting those explosion colour-chips quickly was pretty much my entire plan, so colour-chip bias was definitely my most important hack.
Added a song that will play during Splatfest Battles and Tricolor Battles.
This song will play regardless of whether the player has downloaded the DLC.
Changes to Salmon Run
For players not on the host system for multiplayer, shortened the time until those players pick up Golden Eggs touched immediately after depositing or throwing another Golden Egg.
This update focuses on adding a song for Splatfests.
The next update, which is planned for the middle of Fresh Season 2024, will make changes to things like battles.
