Topic: Splatoon 3

@OctolingKing13 I feel that if there's a Direct in April (after June is very barren so there's a good chance) there has to be a Splatoon 3 segment given how they've handled Splatoon 3 in Directs. But we already know SpringFest is in April so it would probably need to be different from the typical "announce Splatfest" segments from September 2022 and June 2023.

@CaleBoi25 Whoa a Grizzco roller coming? I had no idea.. It's been so long now since they've added a Grizzco weapon I assumed they were done.

Oh, wow. The laser light show effects Pearl & Marina's stage has in Inkoplis Square for splatfest is pretty sick. If anyone beat Side Order, you should check it out.

Oh, dang!! @MarioVillager92 landed a gold season banner from the Shell-out machine. I was in Grizzco lobby when a message popped up saying, "Look who won the jackpot on Shell-out Machine!". Congrats @MarioVillager92!!

I have more hours in Splatoon 3 than a normal person should and STILL haven't landed one of those.... EVER.

@Croctopus Wait, there's a new scoring system for splatfests? Are those points going to count for the final results? I'm on Team Guitar and this already doesn't feel fair... unless the other categories are still worth a lot more than the conch shells.

I've not been paying attention and noticed there are now balls are following me about like baby ducks being lead by their mother, weird.

@jump Those are Fizzbangs, you can throw them with (a) to make them explode.

@Croctopus Ok thanks for filling me in! We'll see how things turn out in the end. I was on Friday on the last Splatfest, and had the least amount of conch shells in the sneak peek, but ended up winning the whole thing in the end.

@jump Yep, you press A to throw the Fizzbangs that are following you, and they'll explode. There's also a counter on the upper right corner of the screen that shows how many Fizzbangs you currently have.

Oh hey, I just won my first 100x battle. Go, me.

Another rough Splatfest for me... had a decent amount of 10x battles, but I only won one. Really sucks that I lost every other 10x battle of mine though. -_- I mean, going by some of my battles, I do fairly decent in Splatoon... perhaps it's just my rotten luck with these Splatfests.

@card-crunch78 Nice, congrats! You're helping my team out with that win. I haven't played in a 100x battle in a long time because of how ridiculously rare they are. If I recall correctly, the last time I won a 100x battle was in that chocolate Splatfest from last year.

Keyboards have no business in a rock band! LOL.

Anyone having connection issues this Splatfest? My matches are very laggy.

@Grumblevolcano No, rock solid here. Sometimes another player disconnects causing a premature end to the battle, but that's about it. Most likely an issue on your end.

@Grumblevolcano I didn't have any connection issues when I was playing in the Splatfest. The last time I had connection issues, it was snowing in my area and the game kept giving me the "a communication error has occurred, your connection's unstable" message.

So, what's the deal with Fizz Bangs, are they just for Splatfest?

@card-crunch78 Oh, I've been sweating those rainbow colored Vans-like shoes. I'm jealous. I want those! The game won't let me order them from other players. I have to wait till they're available in a catalog again, which will probably be the summer catalog, I think.

Rather than the bell and whistles of fizzbangs (it sounds like a Roald Dahl word) which don't add much I'd rather they add some more stats for you to view, like how much of your paint makes up the percentage of the map at the end of the game or tell you the average totals of a Spaltfest to see if you're under/over preforming.

There’s a really helpful website where you can check your seed and find out how many rolls you have left until you get a gold banner.
I recently checked mine and I have only 40 rolls left!
