Topic: Splatoon 3

okay so i got this one question, so yesterday i was playing splatoon 3 ranked mode and i got a paired up with a roller that only use horizontal flick for the rest of the match and so when i died and the other team was about the team was going to score you know what the roller did he didn't use vertical flick when the team was going up so we lost the match and i felt like the roller just didn't do his job to scare off the team form getting the tower

@_Lime Funny because I recently saw someone saying they can't make Splatoon 4 because the story is concluded. Simply preposterous.. This is a 3rd person shooter where you shoot ink everywhere LOL. They can easily make another 20 Splatoon's if they want to and no doubt they'll continue to as long as they sell. Any lore is frankly unnecessary, it's merely icing on the cake.

What is the coolest looking weapon to beat Side Order with when you beat floor 30 for the first time, or replay "Epic Vibrant Battle" memory in tower foyer? The second half of the final battle, aka epic vibrant battle, gives you maxed out chips for each chip color, which changes the look of your weapon's shots with trippy geometric shaped ink shots. Which weapon has the coolest looking maxed out shots?

If I've screwed up any detail in this, let me know. I already beat the tower with all weapon palettes, so I'm not clear when "epic vibrant battle" memory becomes accessible in the tower foyer.

Spoiler for after beating Side Order tower: Comes back 40 minutes later. ......OK.🤣🤣 .....There's some hilarious fun to be had with broken(OP) weapons & sub weapons replaying "epic vibrant battle" with whatever weapon palette you want. If anyone hasn't tried other palettes in epic vibrant battle, give it a whirl.

@WoomyNNYes Nope, you can relive the battle anytime after your first clear. I did it myself with the Blaster (my worst weapon thus far).

@CaleBoi25 Will all the fun to be had with maxed out weapons in epic vibrant battle, I still don't like when the boss's portal with blue or purple color chips applies the homing shots buff. So many weapons look glorious shooting extra big shots with extended range, and then home shots steals much of that. I wish it home shots could be disabled.

I think I spent 15 minutes zooming around shooting 3-4 curling bombs at a time. XD

On a slightly different note,
I finally beat the Spire of Order with all palettes!!! Man, it was so fun, and I never got bored. The replaybility of this is ink-credible (sorry for the pun there someone probably died of cringe) and I loved all the dialogue between Smollusk and The Elevator Crew. The final diary entries, the letters from acht were the best lore parts. I hope in Splatoon 4 we get more lore though. That’s my only disappointment with this dlc. I beat Eights Palette in only two tries gladly, but I didddd have six color chips. The final boss had me raging lol. I would honestly say this dlc is worth $35, and I’m gonna try to go for 100% completion now 🙂.

After putting some thought into my decision, I picked Team Guitar for this Splatfest. I also went back to Salmon Run and I did... a little better I suppose. I had a hard time with the new stage though. I did rank down to Profreshional +1, but I did keep playing and thankfully I was able to rank back up to +2.

I FINALLY finished Side Order! The stress is making me feel nauseous though.

I'm not digging this loadout on Bonerattle very much. Sorry, but the Explosher is too slow and clunky for Salmon Run, but it does at least have the perk of being the only non-Grizzo weapon capable of taking out Flyfish without Splat Bombs, so there's that at least. Undercover Brella is decent, but can get overwhelmed because it's shots are pretty weak. Dapple Dualies have always been pretty solid in SR, but seem to struggle more on Bonerattle because they have no range. I did best with the Bonerattle debut loadout: N-Zap, Douser Dualies, Dread Wringer and Squiffer. I can't wait until we get our first golden rotation on Bonerattle though. That's gonna be 🔥!

Funny thing about replaying epic vibrant battle, the game won't let you play it with Eights palette. If you pick Eight's palette, the game always loads you with Agent 4's palette.

Also, Side Order weapon palettes don't unlock randomly, like I thought. Forgive me if I've been saying they do. Using a new switch user & playthrough, the weapons are unlocking in the same order as they did before.

Do I end up getting less Prlz if I keep going in with Agent 4's palette (the one I used to beat the game with)? Because I'm more experienced with Shooters and I plan to buy all the "Player Hacks".

@Croctopus' prediction of a new version of Color Pulse and a new song appearing was correct (We're So Back is the new song).

Other than maybe a bonus for earning the 3 keys for your palette, I don't think you earn less if you play with a weapon you already beat the tower with. But there are varying factors that determine how many prlz you earn, like the level difficulties you chose, or whether you're spending membucks in the vending machines - membucks are converted to prlz after your tower run.

There are other ways boost your prlz earnings. The membucks hack will boost your earnings, which means more prlz in the end. Youtuber Vasko Games might have the best video on the subject I've seen? I think I mainly focused on avoiding easy levels, unless that easy level has the chip I need. One notable thing I learned about in Vasko's video was tone chain bonus, you earn like +100 membucks for every time you add a chip the same color as the previous chip. I struggled to get more than three in a row, but getting 2-3 in a row several times in a tower run will add up for more membucks in the end when they get converted to prlz.

@Grumblevolcano Yeah, I've already been enjoying Inkoplis Square since they're already playing Splatfest background music that sounds remixed to me. This might be the hub I will keep for this week and Splatfest. We'll see.
