@vio Thanks for telling me about latteboi, I saw one of his videos and he's really good. I did learn a couple things as well...

• For the Boss Salmonid that dives into the ground (I forgot its name), I didn't know that circular area could be treated like a Splat Zone and you could cover it with your ink.
• If the Golden Eggs are too far away from the basket, you could just throw them to a closer area, and you could keep repeating that until they're right next to the basket.

I played a decent amount of Salmon Run across Splatoon 2 and 3, but not as much time as you've mentioned. Yeah, I'll probably need more practice I guess. I've had some good runs in the past, but that previous Big Run was not kind to me and I only played a few sessions as a result.

Man, I was really hopeful that Nintendo would make Splatoon 1 single player available as DLC since I didn't have a Wii U. I'm guessing it's never going to happen.

My money is ready.

@WoomyNNYes I think if Splatoon affects Animal Crossing and vice versa, they may use a Splatoon 1 remaster (not just single player but the whole Wii U game) to fill in the gap before Splatoon 4. So like:
Splatoon 3 - 2022
Splatoon 1 Remastered - 2026
Splatoon 4 - 2030

I predict there will be a final fest September, which is Past (Shiver), Present (Frye), and Future (Big Man).
If Past wins, a spinoff called Splatoon: The Great Turf War will be released in 2026, featuring a 35 hour long story campaign, and you play as multiple protagonists, including Cap’n Cuttlefish and Judd. There will also be Turf War and Anarchy Battles, and Salmonoid Population Control (basically salmon run). The hub world will be Inkopolis, but old. A DLC called “splatoon maker” will be released, similar to Mario maker.
If Present wins (which is unlikely because Frye) Splatoon 3 Deluxe will be released for Switch Advance in 2025, with side order included, and extra story content. It will be supported until the next Final Fest in Spring 2028. It will also have 8 bit games and every stage from past splat games. Oh and better graphics lol.
If Future wins, Splatoon 4 will release in 2026 for Switch Advance, featuring a single player mode called “Extraterrestrial End”, with the reveal of a small group of humans exist, including Judds caretaker. These humans look very realistic and out of place in the colorful Splatlands.
Hub cities include Inkopolis (which now combines Square and Plaza), Splatsville, and Bubble City. Chirpy Chips are the idols now.Turf War, Anarchy Battles, and Grizzco still exist, and a new mode called “Battlelands” is addded, which is Fortnite style big 100 player battle royale mode…but Splatoon which I think would be really good. Players battle across large open world maps online. Split screen play is added for all modes. There are also now Mario Party style mini games too. You can play locally or online, or try to complete them the fastest and fly through the charts! New weapons, stages, and more will be added at launch and future updates! DLC for this game called “Past Denied” will release in 2029, featuring Shiver wanting her revenge.

@OctolingKing13 Honestly, I'd like to see a story mode or a spin-off that takes place during the Great Turf War. It'd be interesting to see how it all happened and we'd get quite a bit of good lore from it. A Splatoon battle royale mode sounds pretty cool as well... I wonder how that would play, though. Split-screen multiplayer would be great too. It might help to draw more people into trying out the Splatoon series that way... have stuff like 2v2 Turf Wars, and couch co-op for story mode.

Anyone noticing a lot of ‘freak posts’ in the plaza? I don’t mean that in a rude way or anything, but I’m seeing a lot of people talking about they or other players are freaks. Is there some inside joke I’m missing or does this refer to the strange posts some players post?

@OctolingKing13 If they did a "deluxe" edition, it better be called Splatoon 3: Splatinum Edition

Nintendo has laid such good groundwork with rich, deep lore I honestly don’t mind what we get in the next game because there is so many unanswered questions (I would like a ‘great turf war’ prequel though!)
