Topic: Splatoon 3

Can anybody tell... How do I know that the game has downloaded the DLC? Is it the version number? Or, where do I manually download the DLC?
I haven't seen the pop up. I'm not sure if I just missed it. And I can't download it anywhere on the eShop. So.. I have it already??? Help! 😅

@Budda Go to the eshop, select your profile icon in the top right corner, and go to the redownload tab. If Splatoon 3 is in the list, select the download icon (the cloud with an arrow pointing downwards). If Splatoon 3 isn't in the list, you've already downloaded it.

Do note that you won't be able to play the DLC until the 7.0.0 update goes live (likely in around 14 hours from now.

@Grumblevolcano Oh so the train station will allow us to go to Side Order once 7.0.0 comes out? I thought it was good to go after last night's download XD

@BingleyBongley It seems they are doing one big patch and one small now. The mid-season patch they released in January was huge.

I know everyone is going to be busy playing Side Order, but just a heads up that a golden rotation/all Grizzco weapons with random Kings on Salmonid Smokeyard is happening this weekend. I don't think this will be one to skip, so at least try to force yourself to take a break from Side Order.

Side Order has arrived!

Just defeated the first boss! It was lit with some of the most bangin music I've heard in the series.

Ahh, that first boss is sick! I was skeptical I was going to like side order, played it for about 3 hours last night. It is pretty darn good so far. Ahh, new content!!<3

Oh, wait. The second boss battle was also delightful. Both bosses were delightfully fresh in their own ways. Enjoy them.

(Suggestion, if you haven't started side order yet: put on a favorite outfit before you get on the train to inkopolis for the first time if you want to make an ideal screenshot or clip during side order's opening. I had a lame outfit on, and regretted it. But this is a very minor issue.)

Are there any reviews out for Side Order yet?

Beware: youtube already has spoiler videos, like final boss. Although, I'm not going to touch them to confirm if they are real. I'll assume they are.

@WoomyNNYes You know how the quickest way to get Sheldon licenses is to reach 1 star freshness with a weapon and then move onto a different weapon? Well it's similar here, each weapon allows you to get a certain amount of keys and those keys allow you to unlock more weapons (it's not just weapons though, there's other rewards too).

Yeah progress = keys = get weapons

Not a single one anywhere. I was hoping to find/watch something before deciding on this, given that $25 is damn steep for a piece of DLC.
