@WoomyNNYes Thanks for the heads up, it didn't happen for me so I manually downloaded it. Preorders made before a system transfer don't autodownload when available, you have to manually download from the eshop.

Side Order downloaded for me last night as well. Super excited to play it when it's released!

I can’t tell you the whiplash I went through last night. I was casually playing Persona 5 Royal and I saw “successfully downloaded DLC” or something. I started freaking out “it’s out early?!” I thought. But alas, it said right after “waiting to be unlocked” or something like that…

I'm literally downloading the Side Order update as we speak and just wanted something clarified for me: is the update that's downloading now preloading Side Order so that I'll immediately be able to hop into it on the 22nd? I'd like to play it sooner rather than later if possible XD

My physical copy automatically downloaded the DLC this morning, no idea if they take longer to update than digital copies

@luckyseven I think that dlc (and updates) for physical games download on the switch itself (using switch memory), just like digital games, so it should be the same. Not sure though.

Completely random, but I find it dumb how both snipewriter kits are just pencils. Like, how hard would it have been to make one a pencil crayon? Also, if they added more kits, you could have a whole set of pencil crayons!

Sorry, but WHAT ARE THESE PATCH NOTES!?! They changed nothing!!! I guess the splatfest changes are nice, and big swig needed a buff — but really? They couldn't change anything else? And the nerfs are so misguided. Enperry nerf? Reeflux nerf? No pencil nerf? Why??? I like the 52 gal one though. This patch is easily the worst one so far. If it weren't for Side Order, this season would look like a complete flop.

Huh, that's strange: I saw the 'successfully downloaded DLC' message pop up but I don't remember seeing a message stating it'll be unlocked for later use whatsoever. Where would I have to go in order to actually begin Side Order then? I saw in the patch notes that you would access it via the train station but I went there last night and it only gave me the option to go to Inkopolis Plaza 🤔
