I know I probably could've said this earlier, but I really like how you can practice with your weapons in the lobby, whether it's before you start looking for a match or while you're being matched up. That is a huge quality of life improvement over Splatoon 1 and 2, honestly, and I've gotten a lot of good use out of this lobby to make sure I get the hang of my weapon setup. That is a feature I'd like to have in the next Mario Kart game, where in online, you'd practice the kart controls while the game picks the next course, instead of just being in a waiting room.

Ran the update, I don't see a big run reward fix. Still have bronze reward, which should be gold for the 141 egg total. Splatnet App still shows bronze for last Big Run.
Really off topic, but got bored of playing rainmaker, so to switch things up, I decided to play n-zap (the only shooter I've ever touched outside of turf) for my x rank rainmaker placement — and got in the top 2000 players. For me, who barely maintains an x power of 2000, this was a huge improvement. Why are shooters so strong? Have they always been this way?
I also didn't get the news or trophy after downloading the update. Somebody's definitely getting fired.
@Budda I'm starting to think Nintendo made Splatoon progress so unhackable, maybe Nintendo cannot fix the Big Run results/rewards? 😆 (lowering my expectations for a possible fix)
I have a Gone Fission Hydroplant EVP 200 badge, yet the game started me at Pro 3. Shouldn't I have at least started at EVP 40? Is Salmon Run's new EVP badge thing broken too? 🤔
I think the reason why shooters are strong is because they are relatively easy to use, there is a wide variety of them so everyone can find one that fits their play style and also n-zap has a really solid kit!
How long has everyone been playing Splatoon (out of curiosity)? I played 2 at a friend house during the Pulp V No Pulp fest, then didn’t touch it until I bought 3 a few days after it released (well I ordered it but it didn’t arrive on time so… :/ you know how that goes.)

@CaleBoi25 I've been playing since the beginning. I was gifted the 1st Splatoon for my birthday on July 1st 2015. I immediately fell in love with it and played the hell out of it until November 2017 when I got my Switch and Splatoon 2.
@CaleBoi25 I've played Splatoon since the Wii U original though my most played Splatoon game is Splatoon 2 (I doubt Splatoon 3 will overtake that given the Switch lineup is a lot more packed in 2022 onwards than it was during Splatoon 2's lifespan).
@CaleBoi25 I played Splatoon since the first game. I started out with the story mode to get a feel for how the game works before I jumped into the online multiplayer. Honestly, I didn't think I would like Splatoon that much before I played my first online match, and when I did, I already started to love it. I got more into the series when Splatoon 2 was coming out, and played my first Splatfest during its global testfire, which was Cake vs. Ice Cream.
