Topic: Splatoon 3

So just to confirm I’m not missing anything, you can’t actually play the game in this demo yet? It’s weird because it has stages every two hours, but you can’t actually enter the lobby.

While I'm still excited, I'm just wondering if Nintendo is going to do a better job policing these community whiteboard posts than they did in Splatoon 2.

Within 5 minutes of being in city I ran across some pretty awful "posts" including: a sketch of male genitalia, a rule 34 sketch of an inkling and an octoling scissoring (because, you know, the theme and all), and a handwritten one that said "if ur gay kys".

I reported them all but I remember seeing this kind of awfulness all over Splatoon 2. The whiteboard function is such a nice idea and I've seen some great art since the first game but I'm about tempted to turn it off already.

@Captiosus It’s are that I see anything like that really. So the reports hopefully worked. But with anything like this, your going to get some inappropriate things, it’s just humans lol.

@Captiosus Those posts are 50% Among Us, 40% sexual content, and maybe 10% actual good drawings lol. They're better off removing them all together and doing their own curated stuff.

I will never link Splatoon to social media just to post in Splatoon. That's me personally, not a judgment on anyone else. I don't like digital trails & personal info harvesting. Although, there have been a few times I've been tempted to make a post.

Anyone not aware, Splatoon 2 doesn't allow you to post anything in-game unless you link to social media. I assume it's the same for Splatoon 3.

The models really do look better, it’s a nice update.

And like others have said they look older, which makes sense since some of the characters from 2 has gotten older.

No matter the game, we can't escape them.

I'm obviously just messing. Where do you find the Splatfest rules in Splatsville? (maybe I missed the rules option at the splatfest t-shirt vendor?)
