Topic: Splatoon 3

@Snatcher I only advanced from Defender to the next level Champion today and turned it off because I am tired today (I rode in the sunny heat yesterday until I was exhausted. And I'm feeling that today.)

....still no 10x battle

Been at work for the majority of the day so I only got in around 20-ish matches of the Splatfest (currently in Champion rank) but I'd definitely say I've had a pretty good time so far. I've essentially been using this fest as a trip down memory lane, playing every weapon that I've loved using over the past year and it's been a ton of fun (the two Heavy Splatlings especially are so damn fun man). Definitely going to be making one big push tomorrow when the random Tricolour rotation opens up!

also WHERE THE HELL ARE THE DEEP CUT BANNERS, THEY STILL HAVEN'T BEEN DISTRIBUTED HERE IN EUROPE 😭

@Fizza Are you saying your Switch news never got the Splatoon 3 anniversary news tile in the past week? Open that article, and there's a button at the bottom of that article to retrieve the Deep Cut banners. After you press the button, you go to the lobby in Splatoon 3, and the Lobby Computer will have an ( ! ) above it, indicating you have new things to collect (The deep cut banners).

@Budda, did you get your deep cut banners from the switch news article for Spaltoon 3 anniversary? @Fizza says they haven't gotten theirs.

@WoomyNNYes Been opening my news every single day of the week since they first started rolling out in Japan and there's just....nothing there.

Apparently I'm not the only one who's having this issue: the entirety of Europe seems to have gotten the short end of the stick according to Splat Channel.

Won a 100x battle but then lost like a hundred battles in a row...
I don't know if I'm just bad or if it's because my favourite weapons(range blaster/tenta brella) suck at inking turf, but I'm consistently losing turf war matches where I feel that I'm doing really good. I feel like anarchy modes should be added to splatfests, and don't know why nintendo would want them gone. Turf war (in my opinion) is by far the weakest mode in the game, because there's no objective to push or force defensive play, and the results pretty much only matter on the last 30 seconds.
This splatfest has been much more fun than recent ones though.

@WoomyNNYes @Fizza The Europe Splatoon 3 news channel has been rather odd as a whole recently. The last article was Power winning the Zelda Splatfest back in May.

Well, if you did change regions, you can now get the article from the North American region since we got the article on Sept 5th. So, at least you're not dealing with Japanese articles.

@Snatcher North America, here, finally got the article with the banners on September 5th. So, I got the Deep Cut banners. I'm good!

If you get duplicate articles, that means another switch user profile is linked to a nintendo account set for another region. At one time, I had my main nintendo account set for north america, and my second nintendo account set for UK, and I ended up getting english duplicates of most articles. When I changed account 2 back to north america (so both my accounts had matching regions), I stopped getting duplicate articles.

I can't believe how close the Splatfest is at half time omg.

Played a 10x, 100x, 333x, and maybe another 10x. Lost them all. Recieved no deep cut badges. And my battle record is siiiiick. 18 wins 28 losses. Sick bro.

I love the official artwork for the Splatfest. In this picture they really feel like friends. Especially Shiver looks really likeable and cool. I wish she had this friendly, big sister aura in the game.

@WoomyNNYes I know I keep asking questions, but badges? You can get badges?

Man I have not been able to play this fest as much as I’d like sadly… Hopefully today I can get in some Tricolor but I’m gonna be pretty busy so wel se what happens…

@Snatcher You're only one step behind me. I just learned about this last night from posts on the previous page.

Here's a video outlining how to get the badges. Participate in three 10x battles and you will unlock badges for all three Deep Cut character. So you don't have to worry about missing one. If you don't get the bages this splatfest, your progress carries over to the next splatfests. So, I don't think you have to worry about missing them if you don't get them this splatfest. Watch the two minute video to see all details (there are gold badges too)

Can I ask about the first Splatoon game on Wii U here ?
Recently I have a plan to consider the first Splatoon game on Wii U as I found a seller in my country have a lot of Wii U second games including Splatoon 1 for sale and I have to wait until my salary day to purchase them.
Also, since I have a chance to increase my Wii U games library from those rare Wii U games, I want to get Splatoon 1 as well while the item is still available.
Since I will consider the Solo gameplay from Splatoon games like Ratchet & Clank style, without joining in Turf Battle as I play the games alone and Offline, could you explain me the difference of Solo gameplay from Splatoon 1 - 3, what are the benefits and cons from each series, how do I get all weapons and the fashion looking, are there any trivia things that I can enjoy while playing alone and wandering around the city ?
