Meanwhile the results for the 2 Big Run events that happened were:

• Top 5% = 141
• Top 20% = 117
• Top 50% = 90

Your percentiles are right so silver is 5% - 20%.

Do we know how the sample numbers are calculated? I only ask since the sample numbers for eggstra work seem much higher than the ones for big run, so perhaps they've increased their estimates?

Rainmaker is my jam. I always use Clash Blaster and get lots of kills, my record being 29 I believe in one match. I did a series this morning. My first three matches were one win, two losses. Then I made a sick comeback with three in a row. I had 2 losses, 4 wins, and got absolutely obliterated on my final match. Now I’m up for A+ rank up battles. I’ve already lost twice with no wins. My luck is abysmal today

@Wolfleaf So, what pool did you use?

I don’t really get a lag issue. Just a lot of disconnects. You couldn’t go two matches without more than one person ruining a match for everyone. Takes an hour just to get through 5 turf war matches these days.

@Budda I'm gutted for you being so close to getting top 5%! I don't think I could have managed 203 eggs though, even with a few more hours practice... I mean I know I'm not bad at the game but I don't think I'm good enough to reach those levels, certainly not while playing with a broken controller 😅

I'm all ready for Splatfest! (or at least when it's warm enough to wear shorts outdoors, might not be until after, we're a pretty chilly state)

Ok, the Splatfest votes are open now, and the team I picked is Courage, as I promised earlier. I'll be giving it my all for Link!

I want to earn conch shells and a few super sea snails, so I picked my team. But because I don't plan on playing in spaltfest, I tried to pick the team I thought would lose. I didn't want to hurt the metrics if I picked a team and didn't play. I picked Power.

Do you guys recommend playing on all three modes in Splatfests? Those being Open, Pro, and Tricolor. In the past, I've mostly done Open with a few Tricolor matches.

@MarioLover92 In the US, I haven't noticed that Open vs Pro are better for solo queuing, even though one should be better for it. If someone has a different answer, look at their profile to see what region they're in. I could be wrong, but it seems like the meta can be a bit different depending on region based on what I've heard from Budda in Germany, and BenAV in Australia.

@JadeKitsune Hey did you have an open lobby? I tried joining your lobby, but the game kept giving me communication errors.

Edit: Just adding to my post before I forget. So shortly before I stopped playing, I saw that your lobby was still open. I closed the game, checked your Switch profile, and it said you came offline 24 minutes ago. Maybe the game didn't know you came offline? That must be a weird glitch... hopefully Nintendo will fix it.

@MarioLover92 Yeah, I only had the motivation to join and play until my catalog hit the next level. (currently at level 81)

@MarioLover92 Yeah, I'm not very competitive. In fact this is when I take my picture on Switch:

1. Our team at the start when they emerge from those floating boxes.
2. Anytime I score a "splat" and my opponent(s)' name(s) appear on the bottom.
3. The map percentage at the end (only if we win)
4. The team's victory poses (only if we win)
5. The final results of the round before it does the "catalog" and "level" filling thing.

@JadeKitsune I'm not too competitive either, I just play it and do the best I can - same with every other game I play. Lol
