Yeah I probably jumped into Salmon Run too early before fully grasping all the weapon types...
At around 80-ish hours of Splatoon 2, it was salmon run that motivated me to learn weapon types I wasn't familiar with. That's when I finally started learning chargers, the Dynamo, and Range Blasters. In my early days, I keenly remember getting nervous if I got assigned any of those weapons in Salmon Run.🤣
I like this next group of weapons that start tonight a bit better than the current one. Plus, gone fission hydroplant is an easier stage. So, teams should have more successes (not a guarantee🤣).
Strangely enough, i haven’t been playing Splatoon 3 that much. I played it a ton in October and November, and even with the new update, I just can’t seem to get back in. I lose every match. Those new weapons aren’t all they are cracked up to be either, huh?
There is rubber-banding with battle matching system. While you can have a day where you constantly get crushed in turf war, it's pretty much guaranteed the next day you play, you'll start with a decent streak of good teams & wins.
I'm a little surprised Nintendo hasn't used QR codes again to give out any more Splatoon 3 content/banners. I thought for sure, we'd see another by now.
I didn't know that was a QR download!!! I had noticed that banner, but assumed it was part of the fresh season catalog or shellout machine, and that I'd end up with it at some point. Thank you for the link @Budda! I'll go grab it.
After having Food as a centerpoint for most recent Fests, it's nice to not only have something different, but something THIS cool! Can't wait for April 1st (that date seems pretty intentional given the theme honestly XD).
@Dev9417
The picture shows an alien how many people imagine them. Complex lifeforms are unlikely but not impossible. But at the very least, there should be microorganisms out there. Which counts as "alien". Any lifeform outside of earth is an alien.
By the by, it's been confirmed by Nintendo of Spain that Side order will launch in 2024.
Personally, I'm not bothered by it, in the last direct, they only said it was coming soon without specifying a date, and since they did specify 2023 for Xenoblade's wave 4, that seemed inevitable.
It seems pretty ambitious and I hope they take their time.
My number 1 wish is that they bring in a brand new enemy type, I like the Octarians but they've been reused and barely changed for 4 campaigns in a row. I really hope this one brings brand new Coral themed enemies. I guess time will tell!
I have seen a lot of people complaining about Side Order coming out in 2024, or trying to come up with reasons why they actually made an error, but I am not really bothered by it. There are other games to play for the rest of the year, and hopefully it gives the developers more time to make it really good. I would be disappointed it was later than what they said earlier, but that is not the case. It was always going to be released some time before the end of 2024 (it said this on the eshop).
Ugg. Octo expansion came out a year later. I'm not a fan of the underpowered switch or waiting amlost ten years for the next 3d mario or mario kart. I wish PS or xbox had games I wanted. (forgive my venting and beating a dead horse)
@WoomyNNYes It is an oddly long wait for it. Either they'll release it very early next year or it's actually going to be massive, which is pretty exciting to me!
I do wish they didn't reveal the DLC so early though, I would have been totally satisfied with just the seasonal updates for a few months, but oh well
