Btw I forgot to scrub my splatfest tee a final time Maybe you automatically get fragments when they take it back?

Wow... you're one of those super good players (almost 9 kills per match). I'm an average player, so my achievements feel much more special lol. I will likely never do this well again.

My brother was asking that very same question yesterday. He wasn't able to scrub that last ability before it ended. I would assume it drops as a chunk? Then again you have to pay for scrubs and if you're not paying I can't see it dropping as a chunk.

So... no. Probably not... maybe.

Technically, the Splatfest tee isn't even part of your inventory. On Friday I woke up the Switch from Standby and Splatoon seemed to have no internet connection (it happens occasionally after Standby). The Splatfest Tee was gone and my squid was wearing the basic tee.
I had to close and re-open the game to fix that.

Well it's almost 18:00, where are the results? I wanna spend my snails.
Btw it's great that they changed the distribution key for the snails. Now you get more snails as a loser as you did in Splatoon 1.

EDIT: Team Flight won! Strange though that team invisibility had more votes.

Team Flight won thanks to slightly more wins in both single and team. Invisibility was slightly more popular. Hooray, my first Splatfest win in ages!

I really like that Forge Splattershot Pro.

Now, normally I'm an Aerospray MG user. Cover lots of ink, curling bomb launcher special wreaks havoc... but I started using the Splattershot with Splashdown cause the range is a bit better so I could defend myself, and Splashdown is a good "against the ropes" special.

But then I tried the Mini Splatling last night and, oh my gosh, I love it! It's not as clunky as the big one but it still has enough range to outgun most opponents. Think Ima stick with it for a while.

BUT, I've been wanting to use the Forge Splattershot Pro, I just need the perfect gear loadout first, which I now have. It's an ink-hungry gun and you have to account for that.

So 2 Ink Saver Mains and Ink Recovery Up are just barely enough to make the gun viable, imo. The Ink Res, Swim Speed and Run Speed are just default, necessary skills for me. I just need to swap out one last sub skill for an Ink Saver Main via 10 chunks and the set will be complete. Then I plan to use the Splattershot Pro

Surprising that Invisibilty had more members, but I guess we just, y'know... didn't see them. Nice that it was close to even, in any case.

I swear, though, my team never wins... unless it's a prerelease Splatfest with no prizes.

@shani If you lose connection you can just go to the lobby to fix it, no need to quit the game. You'll still have to sit through the news though.

So I lost another splatfest? No surprise. 3 losses in a row. And even dating back to the first game, I've never won a single Splatfest. Not ever. Not even once

Nooo Invisibility lost! I suppose the reason is that all those noobs take Marina's side and so bring us experienced players down. Same thing happened with Ketchup too... I'm just not gonna vote for my preference, team Pearl is the one I'll always support from now on...

@JaxonH Next month, if I get a Switch I'll fight on your side and help you get your first Splatfest win. 👍

Lol don't sacrifice yourself for the cause. Anyone on my team will automatically lose! Your guys's best bet is to wait until I pick a side and then run to the other as fast as you can 😁

@Yasaal Actually I would've preferred to side with Marina as she's the more grown-up, experienced one. But sadly in the last two Splatfests I had to side with Pearl.

And with that, all of my 24 sea snails are gone. Spent all of them on the spot. I don't regret it, but I still need more!
Wish there was a non-splatfest way to earn some snails (apart from the one you get for reaching lvl30) like in the old game.

Team Flight won! My Splatfest losing streak is over! ...for now. The last Splatfest I won was Ice Cream vs Cake, but before that it was Snowman vs Sandcastle, so it's rare when I'm on the winning side. Sorry to hear some other NLifers are still on a losing streak... hopefully the next Splatfest will change that!

Now to spend my 24 sea snails. I've been getting a lot of nice gear off of Splatnet, so I have a feeling they won't last too long...

@shani You get snails for every level after 30. The first game actually had no non-Splatfest way of getting them until after the last one, although it did allow you to pay Spyke in cash instead.

But yeah... I was waiting for this one because I really needed the snails. I should be okay now, though.

Cannonically, Pearl is actually Marina's senpai. In the japanese version, their interaction is usually with Marina referring to Pearl as her teacher, and is tad different than the the NA and EU versions.

Hey guys - I have a question. I tried playing with my friend yesterday but it wasn't working at all. Do you really need 4 full people to ensure your on the same team as your friend? The two of us couldn't set it up so we were on the same team. We got so frustrated we just switched to MK8 instead. It was insane.

@NaviAndMii That is a surprisingly big gap in win ratios. I assumed they were normally within a couple of percent. Maybe Team Invisibility spent too long hiding in their own ink and not enough time covering turf!

Anyway, it'a nice to be on the winning side for once!

Anybody knows the name of the music that is played towards the end of an online match? Like during the last minute? I like it it's very fun!

@LuckyLand I like the Splatfest music in general a lot. It's quite a bit more energetic than the regular music.
