@shani According to Inkipedia, both blast radius and bubble size are increased. Seems weird to me, though, it only ever increases one aspect of any special, not two. The bubble size could be affected as I believe to have seen after changing into my splatfest attire. Might very well be imaging things but that's what makes most sense to me due to how this specials functions.

Won 30 out of my 40 matches today for Team Fly! Also, it sometimes took a couple of tries to find any opponents for Team Invisilbe... I guess that shows what is wrong with that superpower! Matchmaking can't find you if you are not visible
@Grumblevolcano It is very much the the king of conditioning. With strategic suction bomb tosses and the occasional bubble waving, you can easily get opponents to move where you want them and shoot.
Other things to note about the bubble wand:
The bubbles drop down slowly when fired from high locations, so you can "rain" them.
If left alone, the bubbles will slowly fill with your team colour until very near detonation. Because they last quite a while if not destroyed or detonated and continuously move, you can fire them well in advance of an enemy push to have them primed and ready.
Multiple bubbles in close proximity can cause a chain reaction. So there is merit in both focusing your fire for deadlier explosions, or spreading them out to slow down the enemy on multiple fronts.
Lastly, the bubbles themselves can damage enemies that touch them without having to explode. This plus their ability to take shots from the enemy can make for a reasonable cover or close-range defence, but don't rely on this.
I do feel a bit sorry for the Japanese getting the short, product placement-ey end of the stick again this SplatFest.
We've got Flying vs. Invisibility. They've got Frying vs. ...More Frying.
Still, I suppose it makes a change from 'Why does Japan get all the cool weird things?' envy. I'm much happier with Superpowers than... comparing two McDonalds products.
It's also kind of funny how Japan gets the most bland American choice possible, while the Americas are given two way more exotic and interesting options.
I seriously won my first 13 matches in a row. Has to be a record. I then went on to average about 50/50 after that, but that initial 13 match winning streak really helped.
